COTTONVILL 20COUNT Cotton Solid Quilting Fabric (3yard, 30-Blue Tint)

Because of my age, I have been wary of contracting Covid for a second time. To keep myself occupied I set the goal of using up all my fabric by making a hexagon quilt. I needed black fabric to provide the background and backing. This is a wonderful quality fabric. It is a wonderful weight and will be easy to hand quilt. And much less expensive than my local quilt store.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this fabric. I bought it to back a charity quilt and didn't want to spend a lot but wanted it to look nice. This fit the bill. It is far superior in quality to the Singer solids which are a comparable price. I would probably purchase this again if I needed a solid quilting fabric and didn't need to color match so needed to purchase in person. It was the full measurement as stated and shrinkage was minimal.

I washed the black fabric in hot water and dried it on sanitize. It didn't run, fade. It shrank almost 1/4" but that is really good for 3 yards. It's a solid black, you cannot see through it. I used mine to make masks with pockets for filters. I had a logo embroidered on the left front panel before I sewed the masks together. The fabric was perfect for this also. I ordered more.

I purchased a rainbow 12-pack to use for making masks. I will use these for the outer layer. Nice weight. I pre-washed them on the gentle cycle and there was minimal unraveling on the edges. Only slightly wrinkled when I took them out of the dryer.

The quality of this material was just what I was wanting - medium with so it is not too thin yet it drapes beautifully. The seller represented the product accurately and I will be buying more from them.

First time purchasing and using the brand and it worked well for my sewing project. It is a good value and they have many color options.

The fabric is as expected. The issue is that I ordered the colors poppy and received dessert. Very disappointed in not receiving what I ordered, but will keep them.

I bought this in blue my favourite colour to back a quilt. It is so nice that I have used it in other projects, like pillowcases and EPP I need to order more. Its pleasing to work with and a lovely shade, seems to be quite colour fast which is something important to me.

Really felt like doing a stained glass quilt but didn't want to drive an hour to the fabric store just for one thing. I took a chance on this 3-yard cut and I wasn't disappointed. Not only did it arrive in 2 days, this fabric is comparable to any name-brand quilting fabrics! Good weight, nice colour and finish, no odour, accurately measured and cut. Nice to work with. I'll buy more of this fabric, thanks!
