Joyva Halvah chocolate Covered, 8 oz

Love Halvah! Glad it is available on Amazon, because it seems to be getting harder to find here in NY.

My Experience It was DELISH. BUT it was chocolate covered and chocolate was all melted. I’m surprised that they didn’t have place in the truck to keep them. BUT AS I ATE MY CHOCOLATE COVERED HALAVAH I LICKED THE CHOCOLATE OFF MY FINGERS. HMMM! LUV MY CHOCOLATE

Product within expiration date. My delivery instructions were not followed. Delivered to back door. Package left to the elements. I have given specific delivery instructions for front door delivery code, to going up the steps and it is the red door on the left. The Halva was in a plastic tray, broken on two ends, chocolate covering melted whereby it looked like a graham cracker smeared with chocolate. Extremely unappetizing. I have spoken with an Amazon CSR Representative who was 'exceptional'. after fighting my way through AI to speak to a live Person. The matter is resolved. From now on I will purchase my Halva from my local markets. This is the brand I always buy and love it. Tried loading a photo but I was not successful and never have been; maybe it is me. Joyva is a great product.

I first bought Joyva halvah back in the late 1960s as individual snack size bars. Around 1972 I first saw these larger, chocolate-covered bars. The taste is different than marble halvah, which has cocoa or chocolate blended into plain halvah. For years I hadn't been able to find these 8 oz packages, so am glad they are available once again. The flavor is very good, and fresh. Only downside is that I miss the old, more colorful packaging/wrappers and wish the company would go back to them.

Joyva is always great. However the only downside is the fact that the chocolate covered halva was melted. I won't order again just for that reason, unless it is refrigerated. What delicious mess though if you don't mind too much with melted chocolate everywhere inside the package and your hands. It was a sticky mess, and it was a little dry. An expensive, very sweet treat, in a small package. Five stars for Joyva, four for Amazon

Halvah was delicious. I would refrigerate it if you don't devour it immediately as I tend to do.

halavah is an acquired taste. i had it on thanksgiving , my 21 granddaughter text me that she was craving it. she only had a little when she was here during the holiday. i had quite a few treats here n how she described it n what color pkg it was n the sesame taste made me laugh n i immediately purchased it for her. who pays this price for a treat for my grandaughter, i do !!!

Joyva makes good Halvah, this was rotting and melted and almost to the expiration date. It was unetible and was tossed out
