First of all, I buy many products on Amazon. I may have written one other review. I am just so impressed by this product. This works great on drip pots as well. I have a ninja coffee maker with an insulated carafe. It’s 10 years old. I know this because I received it as a gift on the 30th birthday and I am now turning 40. I make coffee almost every day. I clean it from time to time with water, dish soap and a bottle brush but it just never seemed to never get clean. Many years ago, I had resigned myself to the fact that coffee stains just don’t come out. This was until yesterday when I used this product. I just let all the parts soak in hot water and about a teaspoon or two of the powder. Then, all the buildup and stains came off—with barely any scrubbing. It’s now spotless, and I would say I am speechless but I am writing this review. It was totally black inside from 10 years of coffee and it’s totally gone now. Just perfectly clean stainless steel. The build up came off in sheets (it was disturbing.) Worked on my thermos too and all the parts. I am going to do some of my to-go mugs next. I don’t have a picture of the contents of the carafe when I poured it out, but let me tell you it was many times darker than any coffee ever produced from this machine. Pictured in the bowl was just what came off the small stopper for the carafe. I had already cleaned it multiple times with soap and a sponge. Still had coffee stains. Then I let it soak in this solution and all the stains came off. It’s like I have a brand new pot! The coffee is also tasting amazing this morning!

This worked quickly and easily to clean the stainless steel carafe that came with my Cuisinart coffee maker. It took just a few minutes. It rinses out easily and leaves no odor. The inside looks like new. Also, a little goes a long way. You need only 6 grams per liter of water. This container will clean my carafe about 60 times! That will last me 5 years at one cleaning a month.

works great for cleaning parts that come in contact with coffee oils like the coffee pot or portafilter screen. Don't run this stuff through the internals of a drip coffee maker or through an espresso machine. It is great for backflushing an espresso machine but don't put it in the reservoir!

This stuff is fantastic! I have a mocamaster and the components just would not come clean enough for me. So I bought this, soaked the parts and they were so clean I couldn’t believe it. Then I cleaned my grinder parts. They came out clean too. You only need a very small amount to get the job done
