Perfect Fit for the iPad 1 or iPad model A1219
iPad 1 was dead before the battery replacement. Now everything works great. Time will tell on how long it will last. I did not use any of the tools, can't say anything about them but the battery was a perfect fit. Installation was easy, hard part was removing the old battery and holder, a little heat with a hair dryer on the back of the ipad helps with the removal. Just take your time with the connectors inside the iPad, they break easily if not carefull.

Better than the Genius Bar
Cleaning out my closet and found my wife's Gen 1 Ipad I bought her for Xmas the year they came out. It stopped working at least 6 years ago and kept looping the apple logo, took it to Apple and they said the mother board was bad and would be $600 to fix. Obviously didn't do that and tried to fix by Google. Eventually I gave up and threw it in the closet and forgot about it. Package came in today watched a YouTube video by DirectFix and had it up and running in 2 hours. Easy replacement except what another reviewer mentioned about having to take batteries out of the assembly and putting into the existing assembly. This is why we need Right to Repair laws.

Missing required T4 screwdriver
Since the toolkit is missing the required T4 screwdriver, you won't be able to replace the battery without ordering one. It is also an extremely difficult task with plastic parts breaking while prying the glass screen portion the metal body.

Bracket missing built in screw nut support that secure other component
Battery arrived on time, did not expect as a whole component with battery holder attached. Holder was perfect match but missing built in nuts to secure another component. Easy fix, I carefully remove battery from holder and attached to old holder before taking everything out of I-Pad. Old holder was attached very tight to back cover, easily cut tape that held battery to holder. On new unit, I carefully peel back tape from edges. This is reason why I gave it a 4 star

Battery is fine. Inadequate and inappropriate tools included.
The battery itself appears to work fine. The tools supplied with the battery do not match the intended use and none were appropriate for the task. Advice: Do not use the "inclusion of tools" as a reason to select this particular product or supplier.
