I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this thing! I have a fixed left pupil, meaning it never ever dilates. It is always big like an orange so light gets into my left eye and it feels like someone is just stabbing me in the eye constantly. I first tried this type of device when I purchased the As Seen On TV one... What a piece of trash that was. Total hard plastic and awkward. I had no need for the extra yellow visor they add to the dark one. It finally broke and I ordered this one! Just installed it this morning and OMG! It literally felt like when you switch from a pair of tight shoes to comfy and right size made for your foot shoes! I love the curve on it and the spring news on the installation clip. I'm 5'4 female, I didn't even have to adjust the height. Straight out of the box it covered my entire face. Everything looked so clear. No need to wear my glassses. I can't wait to use it during the 6pm SoCal sun, which really is the most blinding thing while driving. I couldn't recommended this product enough! I'm in love!

I bought one of these for myself last year. My daughter started driving this year, and this is great for her, as she wears glasses. It really helps with the early-morning and evening glare, when the sun is too low to use the built-in visor. This is easy to clean, just keep in mind you will want to use a lens-cleaning solution and lens cloth or the visor will get scratched. There a couple of small issues that I docked a star for: 1. The tiny could be a little darker. It helps considerably but I would like it if it were a shade or two darker. 2. The screws that keep the visor from dropping down when not in use loosen frequently. I now carry a screwdriver in my glove box for this reason. Over all, I recommend the product, especially for anyone who wears glasses. After giving my first one to my daughter I bought another for myself.

I have tried and tested several other brands on Amazon but had ended sending them all back for poor quality, hard install/did not work. I was skeptical about this one and was almost ready to give up but decided to chance it and glad I did. Like the other reviews, this visor does work in the sun and blocks glare. At night, it's ok and blocks the glare of lights coming from cars etc.. but you need to be careful as this is not a proper night vision visor and so visibility is NOT enhanced and quite poor when driving at night with this. I would not recommend in dark conditions to be honest. I do find the price to be a little expensive (this is the most expensive one I bought) for a flimsy piece of polycarbonate but it is the one that works so unless it falls apart before my 30 days, I will keep it. For the above reasons, I gave it a 4 stars. I am also a little disappointed that is arrived smudged and slightly scratched on the visor. I am too tired to return this but I am disin the quality control before sending this to a especially for the price that it cost. Overall, try this as it does work to cut out glare and light. I'm updating this review. I've used this for several days now and find that the visor does not stay put when you fold it up. It keeps slipping down and covering my view when I don't need the visor. It also feels very flimsy. It doesn't feel like this visor will last very long so I am giving it a 3 star. Time will tell.

This is a very good product. So far, out of the ones I've bought this sun visor extender was the easiest to install and had the clearest view while serving its purpose. The spring that is used to install the sun visor works really well and you can adjust it easily. Once installed you can still see the road and traffic lights clearly while the sun is out of the way. Others I had bought used velcro to install which was very uncomfortable and quite difficult. Not only were the other products hard to install, but the sun visor was usually too dark to see the road and traffic lights clearly. This Polycarbonate Polarized Sun Visor Extender is very good and affective. It really is well made and strong. The only negative thing about it is that the screw cap falls off easily, but it doesn't really affect the functionality of the product. Its still a very good product.

After I opened the package ,1st thing I noticed was how thin and Flimsy it was I was afraid it would break just holding it up to the sun! The Sun was very bright ( blinding ) during sunset, I didn't even install this Visor extender, I took off the plastic film very carefully & held it up to the very bright sunset ,the visor extender did not block the sun at all ! It was like looking through a Clear piece plastic !! I immediately put it back in the package it came in & tape it back up ,so I could return it ! It's still haven't been picked up by UPS as instructed the next business day which is today ! Hopefully another UPS driver will pick it up sometime today ? I thought my n return package would be picked up by the same UPS driver that delivered my other package today,but the driver didn't take the package I was returning when he delivered my other package !? Such a waste of gas to have another UPS Driver to come today to pick up my returning package sitting in front of my door, he had to move it ,so he couńld deliver my order I got today !! & it's still sitting on the small table by my door on my porch with a sticky pad piece of paper with my note saying Return To Amazon ! So I guess he didn't have a order to pick up the returning package ? Hopefully another UPS driver will pick up the other package to be returned to Amazon the very thin flimsy visor extender I'm returning!! I DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS VISOR EXTENDER TO ANYONE !! COMPLETELY A WASTE OF MONEY !! & THE PRICE WASN'T CHEAP ,CHEAPLY MADE ,NO SUN BLOCKING FEATURES!! BUT AMAZON PACKING WAS GREAT, For a CHEAPLY PIECE OF PLASTIC, But the wesite description by the Seller is completely wrong with the way they described this Sun blocking Visor Extender, Shame on the Seller !! Not Amazon & I & other's trusted seller's description of their product to be accurately tested??

This product came out of the box with a distracting number of large scratches already on it which is pretty unfortunate for something you need to see through! Especially confusing since it came with a protective film on it and was being sold as new. I can't figure out if it wa returned and then sent to me? Easy to install but pretty much impossible to adjust. It helps with the sun but could be darker. The plastic is very flimsy, I don't think it will hold up well to hot summer car temperatures or the regular bumps and scrapes of daily life, but only time will tell for sure. Obviously, getting in and out of the car with it requires some getting used to. Overall, very expensive for thin scratched up plastic but I waited too long to try it out and now cannot return it so I'll keep using it since it does help somewhat.

Accidents do happen, but I don't want to be responsible for one. While driving head-on into the Arizona sun, I realized how easy it would be to cause one. This catapulted me out of any thought of procrastination, and after reading reviews for various visors, I chose this one. And what a brilliant choice (if I say so myself)! Short of stature, my eyes don't reach the car's visor, even with the help of a pillow. This extension is so comforting to my eyes that I use it even when the sun is overhead. It's simple to attach (to either side of the visor) and affords a full, clear view of what's ahead. I did notice a slight curvature when I returned to my locked car in 100-degree heat. I'd say this is natural and not a manufacturing shortcoming. It doesn't appear to distort the view, but I notice it because, well, I'm just that way. Any suggestions for preventing this? The sun was overhead, so I doubt a sun shade would've made a difference. Look for a big tree with no birds, I guess!

I was a little concerned about the fit on our new Toyota Highlander as some comments stated that it did not fit the more bulky visors that come with the newer vehicle. However, I was very pleased to find that it fits our new vehicle like a custom tailor made item. I have always liked well made mechanisms that work smoothly & precisely, and this visor fits that description. Functionally it covers a large viewing area & is very clear. No distortion at all throughout the lens. It is light to handle and operate and as I said installs in seconds without the need of any tools, superfluous straps, Velcro or what have you. Best of all it's not as expensive as you might expect a product of this quality would be.

Fitted the large sunvisors of my SUV and works well. The lightweight construction causes the visor to bounce around

It is too thick after placing in the car shade. Even before flipping down it is already blocking some of my view. Didn’t use it at all.

Es muy bien producto, si ayuda a eliminar los reflejos del sol, el precio si es bastante alto en comparación de otros productos, dependiendo en que posición se encuentre el sol llega a reflejar lo que se encuentra en la parte trasera por lo que y es aquí cuando no conviene usarlo, al evitar los rayos del sol ayuda a que la vista no se case demasiado

I bought this after reading a Top 10 Car Sun Visors article in which this was top of the list. I mounted it on my car visor and lifted it to the not using position, it just dropped down in front of me. I could not, whatever I tried get it to stay up out of the way. I ended up going a DIY makeshift fix. It’s very flimsy as it is. If it didn’t keep dropping down I would be a fairly decent item.
