Needed to disable hibernate in terminal
Amazing product, however when I got this product my macbook kept crashing every time I closed the lid or put it to sleep. I did however find a solution, the easy fix is to type "sudo pmset -a hibernatemode 0" into a terminal. This prevents your mac from writing the sleep data to disk, which it cannot read from when waking up. This fixed all sleep-related issues for me. Product works as advertised.

Best upgrade for a 2017 MacBook Air
The measly 128GB SSD in my daughter's 2017 MacBook Air was CONSTANTLY full and she had to keep rotating files from the laptop to a thumb drive because she didn't always have wifi access to utilize cloud storage. So, two months ago I bought the adapter and added a 1TB M.2 drive. Once I got all the case screws off, the hardware upgrade took all of two minutes. She now has a 13" 2017 MacBook Air with a 1 TB NVME drive running Catalina smooth as silk. Best of all, the adapter and SSD cost less than $80 total! Now if I could only unsolder than measly 4GB of RAM.

Does not work with WD 1TB Green.
What an incredible waste of time and money. Buy the apple ssd and save yourself the trouble. Mac can see the drive once booted into the installer, but once you reboot the Mac cannot see the drive, and thus cannot boot to it. Don't buy this thing. Even if you are able to get it to boot, lots of users having issues with updates and rebooting. You'll end up at the question mark folder screen a lot.

Happy to report great success with early 2015 MBA and 1TB Samsung SSD 980... after reading the instructions. The seller is correct--the new drive will not be recognized by internet recovery. Make the bootable install USB the first time and save yourself the hassle. Some points to note: -so far the computer recovers from sleep when lid is closed and opened -drive shows up with TRIM support without the need to force TRIM -consider getting the short version to use with the the above listed drive; I expanded the mounting hole slightly so that the standoff was nested in it and the factory screw engaged the drive, not the adapter -1 star taken off due to lack of description regarding the screwdriver that comes with kit; it is a small Philips, not the requisite pentalobe 5 necessary for getting into my MacBook Air

El equipo funciona correctamente y a la perfección solo hay que tener en cuenta el tamaño del disco duro a adaptar para que quede bien por el tamaño, lo única ueja que tengo es con el embalaje ya que se falló un poco eso no afecta al funcionamiento pero si es algo que se podría mejorar
