Aluminum packaging is easy to open. Plenty of room on the stick to grasp. Moist when opened, the disinfectant is on a spongy swab which is wiped over the area needing to be cleansed and disinfected. Allow skin to dry thoroughly before placing any bandage. Very simple to use and effectively disinfects.

Wounds heal up quickly.

I had back fusion surgery on three vertebrae‘s, I developed an infection under the skin and my infectious disease doctor had me buy these and use them every day, it healed super fast.

Excellent product

As an immunosuppressed person with multiple allergies to topical antiseptics and to latex but a long, difficult wound healing process after a major surgery, these Chloraprep swabs have been a lifesaver. I was familiar with them as an RN, and pleased to find them here on Amazon. They are latex-free, and each swab is wrapped in an individual foil packet. Each swab is well-moistened with chlorhexidine and the swab head is a good size. There are two reasons I gave the product four stars instead of five: (1) the price is rather high; and (2) over the twelve or so times I have ordered a box of them, twice I have received a different brand (BD) of chlorhexidine swabs that was not the Chloraprep brand, and the BD swabs are inferior quality and a smaller size.

Good for very small wound

Product was as expected. Delivery earlier than expected! Overall great!

I had a hemodialysis catheter placed in my chest, this is awesome for cleaning it.
