is this flat or glossy? got a new Glock  20 that has some very lite scratches from the factory. Thanks!

This stuff is glossy. It WILL NOT solve your problem with scratches on the 4140 slide or barrel of a Gen4 Glock. Nor will it work on the Grip-Frame.Is this an Austrian made Glock? It will say so on the Grip Frame. They are using a new Gas or Plasma phase Tenifer process on the slides and barrels in Austria to reduce the amount of waste from the process. The finish is very flat but NOT VERY DURABLE. I just purchased a Model 19 for a girlfriend from Glockmeister and the same thing happened to me. Acidic Re-bluing WILL NOT work as the Tenifer finish is basic. What I did was purchase some Meguiars scratch X 2.0, remove the front site (nut on the bottom underneath of slide) and work out the scratches on the top and sides. The Rear site should probably be removed too, but that requires a press.This takes a bit of work as the ENTIRE SLIDE must be done and leaves a semi-gloss finish, but I was able to work out the scratches even to the approval of the renown pistolsmith I use here in Sugar Land.Please complain to Glock about the new finish. It is the only way we will get this fixed.Good luck.

Personally, I wouldn't recommend using the touch up on your beautiful blueing Beretta!  I would only recommend this product for touching up quadrails that are jet black in color!

Use the gloss for high gloss bluing, the matte for matte black. Color might be slightly different than the original

Agreed, it doesn't even stay very well on painted the black wood stock of a CZ .22 that I have, regular model paint if not a sharpie works better on metal for me
