The mouse works fine now. Yay!
Just like other reviewers have described:I struggled for years with the wireless mouse having difficulties. Pointer disappearing from the screen; jumping, jerking, intermittent; click something & nothing happens; try to select a portion of text & by the time you get to the end of the portion the beginning of it is unselected & you have to go back...At times I thought, the receiver is too far away. But then I would forget about that & go back to struggling with the mouse & thinking, well, that's just the way life is.But recently the mouse behavior got completely unmanageable. I was constantly having to move the mouse to a different spot to try to get the connection back again. It motivated me to finally do something. I found this product, & it fixed the problem. It's another example of a lesson that I seem to have to keep relearning: I get stuck in a bad rut & think that's just the way things are & you just have to live with it. Then the situation gets bad enough that I'm willing to try something different. And then, often it turns out there's a simple solution.

Problem solved!!
After months for fighting with a mouse that was all over the place, and a keyboard that kept losing connection, this baby worked like a charm! I use a Varidesk, and the signal couldn’t get through the metal sides when sitting down. Just plugged the Bluetooth in the extender, and set it under the desk with a clear connection.

Fantastic!
It's a great add-on to your Logitech Performance Mouse MX. I have a desktop and I kept the receiver in the back IO and I've had some connection issues and after purchasing this, all my issues were resolved. I wished Logitech included this with the mouse but it's a great 5-6 dollar fix for connection issues. Also I wished the bottom on the receiver had some sticky adhesive to hold it on a desk because it can fall off quite easily. All in all, a great product!

Does what it says
This will work with any wireless mouse and keyboard combo, not just Logitech. It basically extends the dongle to wherever you need it to be for better reception. I have a metal desktop and my computer sits below the desk. The mouse and keyboard seem to have a mind of their own. When I connected this and set it at the back of my desk, the mouse had precise movement and the keyboard was no longer doing the crazy it was doing. Excellent product that does what it says.

Great reception
What a difference one wire can make. This worked liked magic once i plugged it in . I have my usb out in garage to cut down on wires for a product i installed. The original mouse was not getting reception unless I went to a certain spot in house. Once I plugged it in it was like night and day. Its like a have a wired mouse. As I said this extended through a wall in my garage.

Cured my jerky mouse!
I've been having a tracking problem with my wireless logitech mouse for a year. The cursor would constantly stall and jerk every 10 -20 seconds. Fine positioning was incredibly difficult. First I thought it was the mouse battery. Replaced - No joy. Then I replaced the old mouse with a M525. No joy. I thought maybe my MAC was getting underpowered, so I turned off all the alerts and notifications. No joy. I used the performance monitor to see if I could find a process using up a lot of CPU or Network or Disk. No joy. Finally, I tried this cable. It cured my problem! I think the cable is basically a USB cable extender with a bit fancier plug for the mouse receiver. Whatever works. Glad it fixed the problem!

Reaches where I needed it to get
Working in another room from the Mini-PC, after having wirelessly extended its HDMI-Display out to a television in that room, the distance was too much for the simple K400 Keyboard's dongle to successfully reach, also. I added this cable and we were there. The wireless-trackball that I have is less forgiving, but since the K400 has a built-in touchpad, we're solid enough. The extender-cable makes the difference between working and... not.
