Great quality, great bargain.
I lift weights and am reasonably strong, but I wanted to work on my grip strength, not just for the obvious reasons (nice looking forearms, useful grip), but if you weren't aware, training grip strength helps keep your wrists, elbows, and shoulders from getting injured - when I used to bench straight bar all the time I would get pretty bad elbow pain unless I also trained grip at least twice a week. These are great, for $30 its a bargain. The 100lbs when I first started I could do for 15 reps right off the bat, which is about where you want to start at, 10-15 reps. I find forearms respond better to higher reps, there's no real reason to do 4-6 reps as an exercise unless you're just seeing where you are strength wise. Could close the 150lbs one to within a 1/2 mm the first time, and the 200lbs I could just get parallel - so this is a great set for me. Very well made, not noisy like some of these are, and the knurling is great for grip, and toughening up your hands a little. 5 stars from me, if you haven't trained with grip trainers before, or aren't really strong already (bricklayers, I'd get something heavier :)), this is what I would get.

Awesome!
I purchased the 100, 150 and 200 and also the 250, 300 and 350 Let me start off by saying that I have pretty intense forearms and grip to begin with. I have 50, 60, 90 and 100 lb rubber rings that I squeeze alot. I broke the 100lb ring and decided that I needed to revert to metal. I would have gone to these in the first place if I had known about them! Very good value and very good quality. Every heavy grip comes with a lifetime warranty. I see reviews complaining that something broke, well get a replacement for life! I had no problems at all with my grippers. They were right in-line with their rated spec weight. Because I had already been doing the rings etc the 100lb was not enough and I gave it to a buddy. I started with the 150 and 200. The gripper package tells you, but I will emphasize again train like you would with any other weight and you will see impressive gains in your hand strength. 10-12 reps and then do the higher weight 10-12 and then drop to the lower weight and do 10-12 more reps. Negatives or using your non gripping hand to assist squeezing then slowly releasing with your gripper hand works too. Then give yourself a day to recover. So I started with the 150 and 200 and in 5-6 days (or my 2nd or 3rd session) I started integrating the negative 250 lbs down to the 150. After about 8-9 days I am only using the 200 and 250. I did a bunch of reps with the 150 for the heck of it earlier after a set with the 250 and 200 though. I plan on starting to integrate the 300 with negatives in another 5-7 days. When you get to the point of doing the 200, 250, 300 or 350 no one will have a stronger grip than you. I squeeze my reps with the 250 and no one that I work with can come close to squeezing it once. A guy who I work with saw the 250 in the drawer at work and picked it up and tried to squeeze it. He looked at me and was in disbelief that I squeezed the thing (He actually didn't believe that I did until I grabbed it from him and knocked out 10 reps) You get to the 200 or 250 and Popeye will have nothing on you. Beyond that and you need to be very careful when you shake other peoples hands. Great quality grippers delivered promptly and inexpensively. I highly recommend.

Great Quality, Amazing Forearm Workout!
Very happy with the product. Well made, seems like they will last a long time. I'm working my way up to the heaviest pair. I have definitely noticed results in my forearm size in a couple of months, using twice a week. The resistance levels are great for your average, physically fit guy... a great starting point for a first set. The grips are a little rough on the skin and will give you calluses on the inside of your pinky finger.. but you could always where gloves if this is an issue for you. Happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend!

Inaccurate measurements but still valid training tool
I dont think the ratings are even close to advertised resistance BUT they will improve your hand strength

Decent grips
I have a set of grips that look like these that I bought a couple of years ago. They are 50, 100, and 150 though. So when I started looking for a set for my son I wanted the same ones. These look identical to mine except they are 100, 150, and 200. I took a chance and figured he could build up to the 100, or could borrow my 50 for a while if needed. When we opened them I realized right away the handles were made out of a much lighter material. Of course he had to grab the heaviest one first and managed to squeeze the 200 completely closed a couple of times. When I tried it I realized another big difference, these were much easier to close than the ones I have. Don't get me wrong, they look like they are well built and should last a long time. And it will be a while before he needs anything heavier. I'm still giving these five stars even though the weights are way off from mine, maybe it's mine that are wrong. Some people might think the lighter material on the grips is a positive so no points off for that either. For what it's worth, my son is in his late 20's, works out a lot and these should be a challenge for him for some time.

Straightforward Review
I bought these as a supplement to my adjustable (between 20 and 90 lbs.) hand gripper since I was wanting to take my grip strength to another level. I play racquetball so I thought these would help, and let's face it, as much as we use our hands in everyday life it certainly can't hurt to have more grip strength. After using my adjustable gripper then using these I can say that design and materials can impact grip strength. For example, I can do the 100 lb. gripper easier than my 90 lb. one which is made more of plastic and has different ergonomics. That being said, I really like the way these things are designed and I love the material used. They seem very durable and I don't have any problem whatsoever with chaffing of the hands etc. Initially chaffing/rubbing/etc. was a concern of mine due to the metal construction. I've "summarized" this product below, along with a slight bit of background about myself which may aid in determining which ones to buy. Me- Age- 40, Height- 6', Weight- 205, Work out regularly, but not a lot and don't focus too much on lifting. 100 lbs. was easy for me, 150 lbs. was slightly harder but almost ready for 200 lbs. already. (In retrospect I probably should've bought the 150, 200, 250, but since my 90 lb. "trainer" was somewhat difficult I wasn't sure, until now) Pros- Great Materials and Design, good challenge and grip workout Cons- None, but keep in mind different designs, materials, etc. that may contribute to ability to do certain weights

Not too easy, not too hard, juuuuust right!
It's been a running joke in my family that my overweight, out of shape father has rock solid forearms and impressive grip strength. He's had a grip trainer of one kind or another on his work desk for decades, he never took grip training really seriously but he uses them regularly. I bought this as a gag gift for him, but in all seriousness it was the correct item to get him. The 100lb will wear him out quickly, he can barely close the 150lb grip in his dominant hand one time, and the 200lb is a long term goal. If you've been fiddling with basic grip trainers and you're looking for the next challenge, this is it. If you're entirely new to grip training, these might be a little too much to start out with. For the cost, these seem to be a better value compared to CoC products (these were intended as a joke gift after all, so I went with the budget option.) In the hand, they seemed quite well built and high quality. I would recommend this product to others.
