Literally life-saving. I can’t begin to praise not just the product itself, but the company jewel nursing home. I have been dealing with the pressure ulcer for well over two years. It has gotten to the point where it has been 7 cm deep unfortunately on the left butt cheek in the worst and I mean worse possible position in the world I wouldn’t wish his son even my worst of enemies which I don’t have any enemies, but you know the saying lol Anyway, this cushion, it helps take the weight and pressure off the sore mostly nothing is perfect of course but it does 85 to 90% of the job, and I can tell you the couple of days I did not use it boy did I wake up feeling it within a couple of hours I was solid stabbing pain the bathroom orb what the other one was, but I woke up in so much painb wasn’t evenbb extra pain medicine would help with. It’s just so deep and it has forever left a dent in my butt, unfortunately… Now to talk about the semi good news, that dent that was left on my butt has been mostly taken care of again. It’s taken two years and I was free to go without a cushion for about all of three whole months yeah whooptydo… and now I have a brand new pressure ulcer in an even worse school patient my original one was a stage four and this one currently is a stage one turning into a stage two and an even more worse position I could ever dream of there was not a whole lotn to stand around because I have problems with lymphedema that’s worse with more standing so I have to elevate my leg as often as possible, and having a 8 1/2 year-old to chase her around there’s no such thing as rest. So getting back to the cushion, the amount of support it provides is amazing amazing. The couple of days I go without it I definitely can feel the difference. I either gets constant stabbing pains with a burning sensation and a sore that’s more red and angry and starting to weak or it gets slightly more scabbed over. None of this is ideal and all of this sucks more than anything…. Anyways, back to my original thought,but I was having problems with my original cushion and these are expensive but worth every penny, and I reached out to this company as I was mentioning in the beginning. When I reached out to this company and explain my situation and living off a disability, you don’t get far they win above and beyond and we’re willing to send me a brand new one because I’ve been using the one I had purchase almost every single day since day one and it’s not as fluffed up anymore Over two years of constant heavy use the fact that they were able to actually care enough to give me a brand new one sent. I can’t tell you what kind of service and actual caring that means to me.. I wouldn’t shop anywhere else for anything with medical/pressure supplies that they may carry. This company actually cares about its customers and it’s rare to find that these days and I’m glad I ran into such a generous kind set of people that we’re willing to do such a thing for me. The money may be a little much at first, but if you have a problem with the pressure ulcer, please don’t think twice just buy this cushion. You will not regret it.. even if you have to deal with something like that long-term like Myself it has made every single day and night much better than going without anything else and I did buy other cushions to try. I forgot to mention, and they were all garbage that I returned this is the only cushion that was well designed enough to not forcibly sit on something awkward in bed when I could just take the weight off of the one section and be good to go. Anyways, that’s my two cents of knowledge so again if you’re on the fence with purchasing this for yourself for a loved one just buy it you will not regret it. It’s a hefty price tag but you can’t put a price tag on your health!!

Outstanding. It looks so simple you might think you can do this with just a couple ordinary pillows, but its not. This product is well thought out and designed. It makes a huge difference, and is worth the ~$100 price. Life saver, for sure! Highest recommendation, sincerely.

After seeing that nothing worked for my dad's bedsore turned into a serious ulcer, I discovered this product. I thought other triangular wedges would do the job, but with his serious ulcer, it's obvious the regular wedges are not working. Recently I purchased 2 of the Non-Skid bottom versions of the Bedsore Rescue. What sets it apart is that with the non-skid bottom it will be harder for the wedges to get out of position. The lesser tilt degree should be more comfortable for my dad. This is also the only product that I find if needed can be left one on each side, thus won't require repositioning the patient as often. The other hidden Gem is the well-thought-out color booklet that came with the product. There are so many tips inside on how to prevent and stop bedsores, information that I wished I had known earlier. In the booklet, it mentioned why some absorbing pads and diapers should not be used and if needed you can call their support number with any questions. Since my dad was on diapers and we used the plastic-backed absorbing pads I called the phone number to find out a little more about why these products should not be used. To my surprise, the founder Gwen Jewell pick up the phone. I found out that she is a certified wound care specialist and definitely had lots of experience and extensive knowledge on the subject. She was very patient and caring, spent a good 30 minutes on the phone with me, even on a Saturday, and provided so much valuable information. You often hear stories of founders that really care about their products and customers. Today I can’t believe that I have personally experienced it for myself. What you are doing with this product reminds me of a famous quote from Einstein, “The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing”. Just purchased for my bedridden mom with Dementia/Alzheimers. Absolutely happy with this wedge. Other wedges I used for her she was not comfortable at all no matter how I fixed it, then all the pillows behind them to keep it in place. Annoying! This one? WOW!! BIG GAME CHANGER!! Very easy to get under her, not too high up so no more sliding off, and the open area, perfect offset for her hips and rear end. Sturdy but not too hard or uncomfortable for her. Really great idea for the shape of this wedge. Fits and conforms perfectly to her body and she has no problem falling asleep where with the other hard bulky wedges she never could. Very happy I got this for her, helps to prevent bedsores or relieve existing bedsores. Fantastic product. No more 4 or 5 extra pillows behind the wedge to keep it in place. Buy this, you will be pleasantly happy.

This was working to help heal my mom's bedsore but she didn't like having to lay on her side. I saw somewhere you can use two so that you can lay flat but we purchased something else that we're finding works and she doesn't have to lay on her side.

You have provided the solution to prevent Bedsores We have eliminated our entire old crappy collection of pillows, wedges, and shaped foam pads and pillow cases that we used to stuff under my husband who is a quadriplegic. I am his caregiver and when I saw that this product was created by a wound care nurse, I became very interested. The shape and contour of the 30 degree angled Cushion provides just the right amount of offloading and can be used in many different areas of the body depending on where you have a problem. I have purchased 2 Contour Wedges and 3 of the Pillows.... and I am so happy I did. This has made my life easier since I can use the products and they stay in place, The material can be cleaned easily and there are no sharp edges or zippers. They are cool, breathable and I don't have to do laundry any longer.... Best investment in a product that I have made.

Does not work, move, slides around. Waste of money

I have not had much success using this pillow on my Mother(who is bed-ridden).I purchased the more expensive model with the anti slip capability.Yet(when placing it)the pillow slides out immediately.Upon reading the included booklet I’ve discovered that this pillow is designed for people resting fully on their side(NOT on their back).So, if you want to rest on your back, you will have to purchase two pillows and place under the body.That option is too expensive at this price.I was underwhelmed.

Did not sit snugly against my mother in laws back so had to return
