Well price cold sore preventative chapstick! Can’t say this prevents alone but works well in my regime as my daily chapstick. Makes my lips moisturized and soft for a great price. I like the smell/taste it seems like vanilla. It would be great to have docosanol, antiviral, in it too!

Bought this to manage my cold sores when they first appear. I agree that if it's caught early then the cold sore doesn't come. If I caught it too late, this did help shorten the cold sore's life span significantly for me, but I have heard that the severity of the cold sores lessen with age. But this did work for me.

This stuff is life changing. I've suffered with big painful cold sores that would last for weeks since I was 5 years old and never took anything for them growing up. As an adult I discovered the patches which were nice for discretion and pain management while the patch is on, but I do feel like they make the healing process much longer. I'm currently on day 3 with a cold sore, started using this product 24 hours after I felt the beginnings of an outbreak, I currently have zero pain and the inflammation has been significantly reduced. I was skeptical of this product for so long but now I will always keep this on hand!

When you put this on for obvious reasons, it tends to turn you lips white kind of like a crack addict (think Tyrone Biggums). Totally not kidding. If your boss sees this at work, you might be peeing in a cup. Other than that, good to go. And to answer your question, yes.

If you get fever blisters, sun blisters, stress blusters or whatever you want to call them. This has been the best remedy for me. I carry one daily and put it on several times a day, sometimes once and I don't get them anymore. Highly recommended and hope it works as good good for you!

I've been getting cold sores since forever and nothing seemed to work like this one. Just put it at the first sign of sores (just when the tingling and redness starts) and they disappear. Amazing truly!

Been having issues with cold sores,dry lips and sometimes swellingTried some other over the counter products and it worked ok but was expensive.This product actually did well for all the issues I had.When I feel a cold sore happening I use this and after 30 minutes the cold sore stops.It also help for my chap lips and reduces swelling of the lip.Only negative it feels a bit sticky so apply as little as possible.
