Was skeptical about this for the price, but it works really well. It's sturdy, well designed and made and capable of holding our projector to the ceiling at any angle we want. We've also replaced the thick hdmi cable we had with a wireless hd transmitter / receiver so the whole thing looks a lot neater. It is a little bit fiddly to put together and it's best if there's someone to give you hand when it comes to the final fixing between projector hook and bracket :)

This review is for the Amazon Basics Tilting Projector Bracket Mount. Set aside an evening to assemble the thing. It shows up with a million screws, and is a bit of a jigsaw puzzle to assemble. Don’t let that put you off, just allow time and don’t rush it. It isn’t the sturdiest, and my projector is a Sony TW model that is really big relative to other models. Initially I was a little bit unsure whether it would be strong enough to secure the projector. I realised that you need to tighten up various bolts that secure the rotation as well as the tilt once you have the projector in place. With all the bolts tightened up, the projector feels a lot more secure. Due to the design being rotational, ultimately there is one bolt in the middle that holds the projector to the mount. I didn’t love the idea that there is just one single bolt as a failure point, but I guess once it’s in situ there shouldn’t ordinarily be much of a reason to move it around. So it’s probably fine. I’m giving this 4 stars because of the price, which is much less than you’ll pay for an epson bracket, I’m deducting a star because it doesn’t feel as sturdy as I would like, and the single point of failure. That aside it serves its purpose well, is aesthetically inoffensive and once the bolts are tightened all around it feels pretty secure and stays in position. Very good value for money if you want to save on buying a branded original item.

Well constructed, great finish, lots of options for assembly and sizes. Anyone who thinks it is difficult should just ask for some help. Seems good value for the cost.

Was a little sceptical after reading some of the reviews regarding how fiddly and flimsy some people regarded this mount. However, it's an absolute bargain; the powder coating creates a lovely finish and the attached brackets are very robust. More importantly, the fixings are good quality and not the usual, fragile rubbish often found at this price point. Installation was a breeze - not really sure why people have found it so difficult. Overall, looks great, feels robust and has plenty of adjustments for picture alignment.

Was able to accommodate epson TW5100 that has only 3 mount points using the included screws but reversing the original mount arms so that the circular part attaches to the central mount point on the projector and 2 of the extended arms reach out to the corner mount mounts at the front of the projector. Needed to use tiber to mount with included screws as drywall would not withstand weight. There is a hole in the centre of the base and that can accommodates a hdmi and power cable if a circular hole is drilled between the two main points. The inclusive plastic cover eliminates this if the cables are thin enough.

This product is sturdy enough. Looks decent but no cable management to speak of really despite description. And the instructions…really rubbish. It took me a while to figure out you could ditch the extension part of the arms which straight away allowed me to then have the projector central to the mount fixing which is where you need to be for the adjustment to work. I would also add and agree with previous remarks that the screw type adjustments are a pain and hex would have been preferable. It’s more a case of tightening up the screws and then moving the projector forcibly and hoping it stays in the position you need it. Difficult if you have a fixed screen.

Actually really good! Build quality is great, lovely powder coated finish. Did the job perfectly for me and my standard home projector (Optoma HD26) Yes, it's a bit fiddly to assemble and install, but no more than you would expect from a universal projector mount. Instructions are good - follow them and it's easy, just take your time and then admire the result. I'm really chuffed and glad I didn't waste my money buying an expensive specific mount, this one is spot on!

Worked perfectly with BenQ TK1800ST and was straightforward to assemble and line up with the three off-centre mounting holes.

Estamos ante un soporte de techo para proyector robusto, se nota de calidad y es universal, lo que significa que se puede adaptar a prácticamente cualquier proyector. Eso es porque incluye distintos tipos de tornillo y sobretodo porque los brazos tienen extensores que se pueden quitar o poner, y la base del proyector donde se fijan estos brazos tiene unas ranuras que permiten colocarlos a distintas medidas según nuestras necesidades. Una vez montado, se puede rotar 360 grados y mover hacia arriba/abajo y hacia los lados, para colocarlo centrado y totalmente alineado. Incluye tornillos de distintas medidas, un embellecedor de plástico para cubrir los 2 tornillos que lo sujetan al techo, que también se incluyen. Incluye además una plantilla en papel para hacer los agujeros en el techo sin tener que estar sujetando la pesada base del soporte No baja demasiado desde el techo, lo que lo deja bastante disimulado. No hay ninguna barra de extensión para bajar más el proyector desde el techo. No la necesito y entiendo que por su precio no la incluya, pero se indica en la descripción del producto que con el extensor se puede colocar a 43-63 cm desde el techo. Si no se incluye se debería indicar. No es rápido de montar pero siguiendo las instrucciones se consigue, lo bueno es que cada pieza tiene unas medidas que hacen imposible que se monte al revés, pues solo encaja de una forma, la correcta, al igual que la distancia entre agujeros de los tornillos o el diámetro de los propios tornillos. En mi caso, con un proyector Epson algo antiguo, no muy grande y que tiene los 3 agujeros de soporte bastante juntos, lo he montado sin los extensores de los brazos y encaja sin problemas. En definitiva, un producto con una calidad-precio muy buena y que ofrece mucho por lo que cuesta.

From the pictures and lack of description I took a gamble on build quality and fitment for my projector mount. I'm glad I did! This is incredibly durable metal, has a tight fitting hardware kit, yet stays agile enough to allow customized angles and adjustments. I have the Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 2000 H562A, and It's big, with a weird triangular three mounting hole position. I had to get a little creative: I took off the slides and just used the spiral base directly to the short metal arms to angle properly enough to get a solid mount, but "BOY" was it solid after it was tightened! My new theater room has a plastered popcorn coating over drywall, and tacked up to a series of joists. These joists were not pointing in the direction of my screen, so I had to sideways mount the unit. Now, this mount is super in that it allows you to swivel, turn, rotate, and pivot in every direction, so the only thing that looks a little funny is the mount cover has a taper to one side instead of being a rounded square. Held up strong, no vibration from my projector running for long periods of time, and absolutely no buyer's remorse. Love this mount!

Excelente producto, el soporte es muy firme, estético y fácil de instalar. Mi proyector es más pequeño y solo calzo tres brazos, pero quedó firmé. Lo único que note es que no tenía taquetes para los tornillos del techo. Yo tenía de repuesto y quedo muy sujeto.
