UV Protection Oil Clear (Satin, 750ml) 420 Extra

8 years ago our house was built with an area of Siberian Larch wood cladding on the outer kitchen wall. We wanted to enhance the grain and retain the colour with additional future protection against UV light, weathering and mould, etc. Our builder initially used 2 coats of this product on the wood and recommended we re-treat it with one coat every 2 years in order to retain the wonderful colour and grain effect. As shown in the picture, it still looks as good as new after exposure to 8 years of Scottish weather. It is very easy to apply and dries quite quickly. The 750ml tin is sufficient for at least 3 applications in our case, so very good value for money. I highly recommend this product.

Very easy to apply to the quality timber on the garden studio.

Brilliant for thermopine wood. A bit sticky going on so two coats not happening out of one tin for a barrel sauna. Dries and cures after about half a day but beads water really well and looks great, gives the wood a pleasant glow and finish. Expensive product but performs well

This Osmo product has to be the best thing on the market. I have put it on my new oak conservatory and it has kept its colour and not gone grey. It's not cheap, but there is a reason for that, because it is amazing.

Only ever use this on outdoor furniture. Trick is don’t let your furniture look drab! Routinely use this. Very light sand to remove any dirt and 1 coat. Year upon year furniture and table remains new. Very durable and very easy to use.

One coat so far and repelling water well. A rather expensive product though but time and the weather will be the judge of its true cost. Has a similar feel to a slightly thinned varnish.

Really great product, super fast shipping. Price was a little on the higher side for the quantity, but if I don't need to re apply every year than it's money well spent! Let's hope I don't need to do it again!
