Joyva also has a roasted sesame tahini that is more like Chinese sesame paste than regular tahini, but the Chinese paste is still different from that; not sure why. Best to stick with the Chinese sesame paste like this one for a Chinese recipes.

Just opened last jar ordered at least 18 months ago and it clearly states In English best by 11.09.20

Should I refrigerate it once it is opened?

I would and do as I don't use it all at once. But I don't know if you need to, but makes sense so ingredients stay fresh. Just take it out of the refrigerator an hour or so before you need to use it. Easy!
