No Problems in tha' Hood
When I purchased my W123, a 1984 300D, opening the hood required that a zip-tie be pulled through the front grill. The previous owner was perplexed as to what was originally used to open the hood. A quick glance through an online Mercedes source revealed this little gem to the missing piece of the puzzle. It's been reliable and solid - a perfect fit and easy to install.

I have not had any issue with it since install but the pin it comes with does not fit
Lever works fine but the pin it came with would not fit no matter what I did. Had to use the original factory pin from the old lever.

sur une Mercedes w123 : pièce identique à l'origine, montage ok, fonctionne.
La goupille fournie avec semble bizarre mais en réalité, je la trouve mieux que celle d'origine (que j'avais encore mais j'ai choisi de monter la nouvelle). Reste à savoir si cette pièce (qui subit un choc à chaque fois qu'on claque le capot) va tenir dans le temps.
