This is a great little radio. AM/FM, static proof, great reception, easy to navigate & operate, fine tuning with antenna. Takes batteries or plug in, it's also a nice compact size & really works & sounds great. It's a durable little radio.

This radio is awesome!! It sounds great the reception is awesome and you have a choice of plugging it in, or using batteries. I haven't bought or used a regular radio in my house in many many years, so I took my time reading reviews on radios that weren't a lot of money. Hands down the Retekess TR604 was a solid buy!! You won't regret purchasing this radio.

If you are looking for a sturdy portable radio with decent quality sound, this is it! I like listening to the AM band, and the reception for AM isn't good where I live so a radio with poor reception capability becomes real obvious. So far, my Sony and Panasonic radios work awesome. Needless to say, both AM and FM receptions are superb. I'm not into testing each radio for its sensitivity but more for its practical use. And the Retekess TR-604 is a superb radio! It has a very big and decent speaker with a sensitive DSP turner that locks into weak signals with ease. You can easily fine tune it unlike some other DSP radios. This radio takes 3 - "D" size batteries so it should have a very long battery life even with non-alkaline batteries. Unlike some of the newer Sony and Panasonic radios, the Retekess has hi & low tone control knob. I prefer it on the low since the high makes the sound too tinny. Besides that, the design and build are straight forward and sturdy. For a radio under $20.00, I'd say this is a very good deal.

Great radio for my garage while outside. I love the fact that it has a backup battery option especially for storms. The sound is good and my husband agrees that it’s a great buy for the price.

As a customer, I might have made a wrong decision, but Amazon, as an organization, allowing 110V equipment in India shows Amazon's greed. My mother plugged this radio into a 220V supply and could not use this radio for even a day.

Este radio funciona excelente, lo compre para mi padre una persona mayor que le gusta mucho escuchar música, el AM y FM tienen muy buena recepción sin necesidad de usar la antena, buen volumen, en general lo recomiendo ampliamente, buen producto.
