A couple days ago Mom called again to tell me Judy was back home in her apt. But unfortunately her dog died while she was in the hospital. Not sure if the dog had been in the car with her or not. She said she loves to do the Richmond Times Dispatch's crossword puzzle and Mom had tossed the paper down to her (they share the cost of the paper). Mom likes to do word searches so I sent her a large print of those and also sent along a large print of crossword puzzles for Judy to convalesce to. Mom called yesterday to let me know how much Judy liked the puzzle book, and to tell me "Thanks!" Every act a kindness an arrival...

Easy
I do a lot of crossword puzzles, easy ones. This book is easy and its the size of a school binder, and i take it to the beach. I could do crosswords on my phone but it uses up battery very quickly.

Judy Approved!

There are More Challenging Puzzles Along the Way
I love crossword puzzles, but these are way to easy. I at least like to be challenged. There is no challenge here. ADDED: OK, in the name of fairness, these puzzles do get somewhat more challenging along the way. I changed my review from three stars to four stars. I think the book is worth the price.

DISLIKED CHOICE
Crosswords are one of my favorite past times. Have recently purchased several books. Tend to lean toward less complicated choices. Assumed AARP selection would meet that option. Book features different titled subjects, Print is larger making it easier to read....A Good Option for Seniors. However, many of them are too complicated. Some worse than others...Actually marked one as worse. Not assuming this in future.

Unfamiliar words etc
Most of the clues don’t relate to movie stars etc that I am familiar with. Names of unfamiliar words that don’t make sense
