Wig Cap-100% Mulberry Silk Breathable Soft for Bald Head Available All The Year

Who thought those were a good idea? Nobody who ever wore an itchy wig for sure. I got mine today and am trying it out. So far so good. I also bought a bamboo cap but won’t get it until tomorrow. But so far, and even tho it’s big on my head, with a silicone wig grip to keep everything in place, I’m not feeling too bad. I need something that works!!! This might be it. Who knew my scalp would be so sensitive to all wigs? It has been torture to wear them. Especially while at work, when I just can’t yank off my wig and give my head a good hard scratch. I seriously NEED this to be the solution. I don’t have much hair left due to alopecia. It sucks! And because mine came on so fast, I wasn’t prepared. So to make up for that I’m buying any product out there to make wig wearing easier. I’m hoping and praying this is my solution. I will update. Update 2 days later…. Still hardly any itch. Idk if it’s just me who is overly sensitive on my head or if this is a common thing… why the hell (the word is in the Bible so calm down) my consultant didn’t mention this??? Anyway, this sil wig cap thingie has been so helpful. It’s kind of big on my head. Doesn’t matter. Slippery and at first hard to get it set right on my head. Doesn’t matter What matters is my head isn’t so itchy I want to yank my wig off, with no warning to anyone around me, and scratch and scratch. Ooohhh. It feel so wonderful to scratch those itchy parts go my poor scalp. No I’m not doing chemo. But I’m almost as bald as if I were. But no dermatologist could give a hoot about it. He looked up from his laptop for about 3 seconds at the MOST to look at my head. I can only hope he gets a chronic itch somewhere, if you know what I mean. Seriously!!! So I ordered another Don’t be worried by how big it is on your head. Mine is way too big. Doesn’t matter people!! It stops the itch while I’m at a job I already I knew I was allergic to. Give it a try!! Costs not much and I believe you can return easily like most Amazon stuff. But I’m not returning this. Why would? It’s saving my sanity!’

This cap is excellent plus! The usual nylon caps made me itch,sweat, and usually gave me a headache. This Product is wonderful, but if your natural hair is very ,very long it might be too snug. It does have elestic enclosed in the silk, but you would not want to stretchy it to the point where it could become uncomfortable. My hair is just above shoulder length, and that is about as much hair that can fit under this cap comfortably.

I got these for my mom. The silk is nice and justifies the price. Unfortunately, the elastic band is not very snug so the cap will move around if you have a small head. Unfortunately, my mom could not use them so she gave them to me (I don't have a small head) and they fit just fine. It would be great if the elastic band were tighter to accommodate smaller heads.

The whole point of a satin-like cap is for the satin to be NEXT to the hair. The outside of the cap is shiny and smooth while the inside is not. I bought this to wear under my baseball caps to protect my hair. So I made it work by turning the cap inside out. But then the seems and white tag can be seen at the back poking out from under my cap. When will the makers realize that the reason people by silk and satin lined head coverings is for their hair to be against the silk and satin. I still give this 3 stars rather than 0 because the quality is okay, the fit is okay and I can make it work for my purposes. But in my opinion this is overpriced. No more than $5 is reasonable in this day when virtually everything is more expensive

This nothing more than a piece of cheap crap that is not even silk. Why does Amazon allow false descriptions of products that exploit Americans with garbage products? FALSE ADVERTISING IS FAR TOO PREVALENT ON AMAZON! These sellers should be forced to comply with USA laws when selling to our market. Amazon permits a bunch of cheap junk on its site, designed to rob American consumers in their own market. This is wrong and repulsive.

I use this silk cap like a doobie wrap for my shoulder length silk press. I wear a silk scarf over it and it stays all night. Sometimes my hair is too silky and I can’t get it in the scarf completely. This solved everything. No snaps, no snags, just silky hair in the morning. I love it! Just bought the other color.

This quality cap fits gently and well and stays on my head all night, even during restless sleep. My head is bald because of chemo, and easily irritated. This cap is soothing and non-irritating. Great value for money!

This has no elastic in the band. It just sit on your head. But the size is decent.

Other reviews mentioned that these were satin, not silk and that the satin part was on the outside. The ones I received are not silk or satin at all, the tag says 95% bamboo viscose 5% spandex.

I should have read the product description before purchasing this product, as I am NOT bald and thus it did not sit well on my head. The four stars is probably not fully representative as a result, because I cannot give the experience for the target bald head.. But it is 100% silk. The fabric is satin silk on one side and plain silk on the flip side ( interior). It is 11 inches in diameter, without pulling on the elastic. From top to bottom, it measures 7 inches. The fabric though extremely lightweight, appears durable and of good quality. Hopefully, I will find a good use for it or give it to someone who really needs it.

Purchased this to use under my merino wool thin winter hats that I adore but dry my hair out. This fits under perfectly and keeps hair from drying and getting static. Perfect and good quality. Thanks to another reviewers advice, I wear it upside down, soft silky side on my hair and seams on the outside, keeps the wool hat in place.
