Update review- 2 months in: Well i've added a star as this mattress has been a dream. I wake up without any back pain and the profoundly wonderful desire to stay in bed! I recommend this mattress folks. Will it last 10 yrs? We'll see, but so far I have been soooo pleased. First review: Though I Found this mattress to be Soooo comfortable! I am still uncertain about it's sustainable quality after 2 weeks. Hence the 4 star rating. I bought this with all my fingers and toes crossed; who ever heard of a decent mattress delivered in a roll for 300 bucks! Well I must say that it has been very comfortable for the last 14 nights. I had developing back pain from a S--ly Postur---ic hybrid mattress that lasted me 11 years. I wish my body type also lasted that long but weight gain changed significantly as I retired and the bed gave up it's life (289lbs-uugh). Would this cheapo hybrid standup ? SO FAR YES. It is deceptively soft and yet very supportive thus far. My back pain is lessening to almost nil. My sleep is far more restful and I wakeup feeling refreshed...I know, who'd a thunk it.! My biggest problem is getting my old mattress removed, a long story! So is it worth it? I have to agree with many reviews and say unequivocally yes. Even If I get 2-3 years worth I saved I think. Delivery and setup were awkward for this single 71 yo male but doable, my old box spring support it fine. It didn't attack me when opening as others have noted and I had to sleep on it 12 hrs after opening which seemed to be fine. There was no odor, no bugs, excellent quality as far as I can determine. So I do recommend if $ is a problem. In a few months before 101day return guarantee draws near I'll post an update. Happy mattress hunting UPDATE 1/4/'21:10 months in and nothing negative to say. Ir has become even more comfortable lf thats possible! One of those rare great purchases indeed.

So I have given it four stars as of right now, but I’ve only slept on it for one night and I plan to hopefully update this review periodically so that it’s as thorough and helpful as possible. Hopefully I make someone else’s online mattress shopping experience easier than my own lol. So, the bed arrived the day it was promised (which I think is more based on amazon than the manufacturer). It was very heavy, though I got a Queen. It was scary to open it because I thought I might get slapped in the face, but no one was injured in the process. Butttt it did open upside down so that was a fun thing for my sister and I to have to flip around. I didn’t measure it, but it does look like it opened to full-size pretty instantly. Overall it looks and feels like a very high quality mattress. Now for the important parts. I would say this mattress is definitely a little more on the firm side. I wanted something a little more firm, but this is pretty dense. Just about as dense as a traditional spring mattress. However, I am 4’10 and 140 pounds so I’m a little bean of a person on this mattress and know that can affect how firm I feel it. However, my more heavy set family members also said it felt a bit on the firm side. Though! That is not to say it isn’t comfortable, because it is, but it’s not gonna be that squishy soft sink into your bed feel that comes with a soft maybe memory foam type mattress, which is what I didn’t want. This has great edge support! I initially wanted a pillow top mattress, but due to the intense volume of high reviews on here I decided to go with this one. So, both the pillow tops that I have felt and this mattress all have springs for that bouncy feel of a traditional mattress (very good for adult activity, or romping lol) and a top layer of cushiony material for added softness and comfort. This mattress is not a pillow top but rather a fabric top or whatever they call it and the difference is pretty much just what it sounds like. A pillow top feels like sleeping on top of, well, a bunch of pillows. It has that plushy, fluffy texture of a pillow. The best way I can describe the fabric top is as if someone layered a few comforters or blankets on top and sewed them in. It’s not like you can feel springs or anything, it’s just that sort of texture. It definitely feels dense like thread rather than airy like the fluff material of a pillow. In conclusion, I still like this mattress very much and think it’s great quality. I will update to see if there is any improvement on my quality of sleep or back pain, it’s too early to tell right now. The firmness is something I can overlook and hopefully it will soften over the course of time and use, but if I ever do decide I want significantly more softness I think a topper would do just fine to adjust that. I will also update y’all after my boyfriend stays over to tell if it performs well for couple sleep and romping!

We purchased this mattress for our 23 year old autistic son recently, as his old, chap mattress had become tired and worn out. His bedroom is quite small and so the Twin was our only option, though we did buy the Twin as the XL version so that he has a bit more length. He's just under 6 feet tall so the extra length suits him well, and since he tends to sleep mostly on his side the Twin does work fine. So we tore open the box and carefully opened the plastic using the included cutting tool, no problem there. We placed the mattress atop the bed frame which is a raised 14 inch platform which requires no box spring and then we allowed the new mattress to expand for about 8 hours before we went to sleep. Being that our boy is a night owl he probably didn't climb into his newly se-up bed for another 4 or 5 hours. When he woke up I asked him how he slept and he exclaimed "I slept GREAT!" so I knew that he loved it. The mattress then got the rest of the day to continue to expand. I have to admit to being a little freaked out at first. After getting the rolled up mattress out of the box we laid upon his bed frame while still in the plastic and it looked quite a bit wider than the bedframe. Don't let that panic you like it did us. As soon as it's out of the plastic and is expanding that extra width disappears and the end result is a fully corrected size mattress. We did not notice any sort of aroma emanating from the mattress short of BRAND NEW fragrance. It was just fine. There are NO handles on the sides for carrying but the mattress can be easily set on it's side and manipulated, especially easy if you have a helper. In a nutshell, it appears that this is a really nice hybrid mattress at a great price. It seem firm enough to offer support even for a "Husky" person yet it offers an excellent, very soft, comfortable top, almost like a pillow top, and the mattress seems to keep him cool while he's sleeping. We are very pleased with this purchase at this early stage and will add to this review as/if necessary.

I was skeptical of a bed in a box, but this bed has exceeded expectations. No bed offers me pain-free sleep due to a bad auto accident. This mattress gives me the best rest, better than expensive suites in the top hotels. The mattress will take a solid 3 days to unfurl and settle, but then will be ready for use. I slept on it the first night, and it definitely was not ready, by night 3 was very comfy. The directions caution you from "getting smacked" when you unfurl/unpack/unbox the mattress, but was not a problem. Follow the simple directions and you'll be fine. Exceptional mattress and value. Medium to firm feeling with a cloud comfy top layer. The springs give nicely, adjusting to your body with ample support. No nasty smell or outgassing. Along with a coma inducer comforter as a bottom sheet, I get the best sleep in 4 years since being rear-ended by a work truck. Maybe it will help you, too. Update: mattress still working great. I had hip pain after several weeks. I read a change in back support can cause this. I ordered the Linenspa Simple XL motorized bed base and it changed the bed and sleeping experience. I now get the absolute best rest I've gotten since a serious auto accident. Being able to relieve pressure on my lower back through use of the adjustable base did the trick. Less back/hip pain through the day. Worth every penny, and both items were a great value.

I’ve been using this mattress for a few days and it’s very comfortable. It has a good balance between soft and supportive, and it feels great for everyday use. Overall, I’m happy with it.

I have had this mattress for almost a year now and I find it's description of firmness not exactly accurate. I find the mattress to be REALLY FIRM, much more firm than the description describes. If I had known just how firm it was, I would have never purchased it. I know each person's firmness level is different, what one person might describe as extra firm, another person may find it to be extremely hard. Yet from the reviews that I have read so far, the firmness of this mattress seems to be consistent, it is firm. As for me, I find it to be, firm to hard. I thought after some time it would soften, unfortunately that hasn't been my experience. I purchased the mattress in June of 2024, it is now June of 2025 and the mattress hasn't softened very much at all and I wish I had returned it before the 100 days were up, but I kept thinking it would soften given more time. Unfortunately that hasn't been my experience For those looking for a firm mattress, this one will serve you well, for those wanting medium firmness, I would choose another mattress. As I said each person has their own idea/ feeling of what type of firmness feels like but my opinion is that this mattress is firm.
