I was doing work on our home boiler and our old air vent valve was all pretty crusted over with calcium deposits ... I probably could have soaked it in some Lime Away, but got a new one instead and it works as expected! ;-) I would recommend this!

Everything about this seems to be fine - the quality of the materials and construction, and the fit. It went in on my boiler with absolutely no problems, with a small amount of teflon tape (not supplied). Time will tell its durability. If there's a problem, I will get back. ___________________ One small problem: I just bought my second of these. There was a problem with rough shipment and the box's top was torn off and the unit's sensor was bent. It would be good to have a vertical wall of cardboard around the unit's bottom to prevent damage to the sensor. Presumably just straightening it out will be ok. I'm not taking any points off, this should be a rare occurance.

Worked great to fix my radiator. The previous valve leaked from decades of use. Installation was easy. Got my heat back up and running within minutes of its arrival. It took longer to take the screws off the cover of my radiator than it did to thread this on.

Perfect replacement, nicer quality than the chromed tin ones. Easy install, fit and finish is excellent. Note: If the little tab sticking out of the 1/8 pipe section gets bent during shipping (1 of 2 ordered, did) just straighten with needle nose pliers, should be free to move up & down (in & out), then install. They worked just as expected and self bled the air from the system in moments, unlike the scaled up ones they replaced.

Wonderful seaf sealing air vent, especially for sealed heating systems, that basically remves any air pockets in your pipe work, and then seals itself, when it senses any moisture. I've used a few, have NEVER failed me yet!

East install, works as expected - better price than the big box stores locally.

They appear nice at first but I have found them to leak liquid.
