They’re great, but hard to care for.
BUYER BEWARE! Read into how to care for these markers specifically:) Not easy to care for. make sure to store on their sides, keep their temperature controlled- if you don’t, you end up like me. Broke & out of ideas. Needy, soft little buggers they are.

Satisfied with my purchase
Likes: Customer service - there was some initial delay in shipment of the purchase, but the seller was prompt, courteous and patient in helping me track my purchase shipment and getting it delivered in due time. Quality and value for money - Copic markers are great, good colors, saturated pigments and easy to use. I am a first time user, with experience in water colors, oil colors, mixed media. So far very happy with the copic markers. I looked for equivalent sets of copic markers from other sellers, and by far this was the cheapest option I could find. Dislikes: Copics are expensive. For first time users, if you dont know what shades and colors you should purchase for your project, it can be a little confusing, but once you understand the colors better, it becomes easier.

Better than Prisma
Bought my brother a set of Prisma's long ago and although I prefer Tombow Dual Brush markers, thought I would try Alcohol markers. Prisma gave me a headache like you wouldn't believe, STRONG smell, but these were crazy expensive, so I tested with the "Skin Color" set and no problem with sinuses acting up, little smell like probably less than a Sharpie, but nothing close to Prisma. My brother's Prisma's are almost all dried up now, but I gifted my set of these markers to my Niece who is into art, she understands why these are GREAT. Seriously a $5 refill will last a LONG time. Nibs dry, just buy a new one. Less waste and holding a Prisma while coloring in is like holding a poll. Price is Crazy, but if you just jump, you will know why.

take good care of them (don't let them clog on you!)
These are very nice markers, and they blend well on the right type of paper (I recommend Bee Paper Bleedproof Marker Pack, 8-1/2-Inch by 11-Inch, 50 Sheets per Pack ). However, a couple markers seemed oversaturated, the ink was actually dripping out of the brush nib. I found out that the markers that did this were clogged up, which can happen with too much heat or pressure, or if they drop from the table. To remedy this, you'll have to remove take both caps off, and and that will relieve the internal pressure. Now comes the tricky part: taking off the brush nib. Usually, you're advised not to do this, or you'll run the risk of damaging the brush nib, so it's recommended that you buy some spare nibs first. clean out any ink residue you see. You might wanna try adding more ink to compensate for what you lost, but I would rather wait for the marker to dry out. You don't wanna risk overfilling and clogging up the marker you just unclogged! After that makes sure you don't drop them, shake them, and don't get them too warm. Overall, great markers, they can be refilled, the nibs can be replaced, these really are some of the best out there. Now I know this may sound tedious, but if you're careful then this should be a rare job to do.

My favorite medium to color with!
I bought my first set of Copics just over a year ago and they are my favorite medium, bar none. I now have all the colors and I use them all the time. They have a bit of a learning curve but there are free videos abound to teach you how to use them which is how I learned. They are expensive but truly worth every penny to me. This was the first large set I ordered, the rest were obtained from other websites and one marker at a time from craft stores using coupons. If you are willing to make the investment these are the best alcohol markers and since you can buy refills they are a good investment. The only downside I can find to these (besides the price) is the lightfastness. They are not rated and will probably fade in sunlight or possibly diminish in brightness over time. It is probably best to color copy your works to display them on a wall.

Recommend purchasing a scale
I am new to Copic markers, and in no way an experienced artist. I bought these markers to have fun coloring while my kids craft, so my drawings mainly include cartoon Star Wars and Mario characters, haha. I did however research them a fair amount before purchasing and I found buying a scale extremely useful. I bought the Magnus Precision Pocket Scale for $11 off Amazon to weigh the markers - a full/new marker should be about 14.0 - 14.3 grams. If the marker is close to 14.5, it is overfilled and prone to splatter. If a marker is 13.5 grams, it can use to be refilled (all according to my research). It was interesting to weigh the set I got - 66 of them were between 14 and 14.3 grams, 2 were filled higher and 4 were below 13.8. Of the 4 below 13.8, only one didn’t work at all (it weighed 12 grams!!) and the other 3 worked but weren’t very juicy. I really enjoyed knowing that the set I got was overall well filled and not dried out or old, since I typically hesitate to make big purchases directly from Amazon these days. It will be nice to have the scale long term too to know when to refill each marker. If you are going to spend a lot on markers, I’d definitely recommend spending an extra $11 on a scale too.

Perfect quality, shipped faster than expected
I placed this order for Copic Set B of 72 Sketch markers on December 6th with no expectation of receiving my markers all the way from Japan until January sometime. Imagine my surprise when they came on December 21st! Before Christmas even! There were no extra duties or taxes due upon their importation to the US. If you order, please keep in mind that these do NOT come with the plastic case. I was able to order the plastic case from a US source: MarkerPop for around $26. Adding these two charges together still made this a cheaper alternative than most other Copic retail outlets I could find. And the quality was perfect. Every marker appeared fresh with good ink flow. I am a totally satisfied customer.

Best markers for the artist
Fit these as a gift for my wife who is an artist. She loves them. Perfect fine and wide lines and fills well. Works on many types of media and papers with super fine detail. They are reliable and tips are replaceable. Absolutely the top markers you can buy and really worth every cent once you've experienced using them. If you do art they're essential. Just get them already!
