Lasko Oscillating Pedestal Fan - 16" - S16612 - Black

This fan works great and has been very reliable for everyday use. This is now my second summer using it, and it still performs well. The airflow is strong and helps keep the room comfortable during hot weather. It works well in bedrooms, living rooms, or office spaces. It’s been a dependable fan over time. The oscillating feature helps move air evenly throughout the room. It cools a larger area instead of blowing in one direction only. The multiple speed settings are useful depending on how much airflow is needed. The fan runs smoothly and does a good job circulating air. It’s very practical for daily use. The adjustable height makes it easy to position where needed. The remote control is also very convenient, especially when using it in a bedroom. The timer feature is helpful for nighttime use or saving energy. Everything is easy to adjust and use. It’s designed with convenience in mind. The fan has held up well after regular use across multiple summers. It still feels sturdy and runs consistently. The black finish looks simple and clean without standing out too much. It fits easily into different rooms and styles. It has proven to be durable over time. This is a solid fan that continues to work well season after season. The features, airflow, and reliability make it a great value. It’s easy to use and effective for keeping spaces cool. The long-term performance has been impressive. I’m very happy with it.

I Love this fan! It's the perfect size and it is whisper quiet. I ordered white and it just blends into the wall. There are so many different speeds and buttons on the control pad under the fan are easy to read and the remote control is great. I don't have to get up to change the setting.

These are pretty good fans. They have a nice set of features, including a thermostatic setting which if the temperature falls below the selected one (5 degree increments), the fan stops blowing. Very handy over night when the temperature starts out high enough to need the fan and then dips low enough that the fan wakes you up with chills if it keeps going. In my opinion, superior to a countdown timer, which this also has. It's not too noisy, although there is a bit of a hum. Speeds start at the highest and step down to off, which makes it a more annoying to speed up, but with 5 speeds, it's not too bad to cycle through. Although you do lose timer or temperature settings when you go through off. The remote is a little obnoxious, as it also controls fans of other brands which makes setting all the fans more exciting than we might wish. Worse, the buttons affect the other brands differently. so changing the speed on this may start another brand oscillating. The top height is a bit lower than some, and the downward tilt is limited. On the other hand, height adustment is pretty good, so can compensate for the limited tilt. Cord is adequate, and if not long enough, there is always the option for an extension cord.

For a fan that is American made, it’s China cheap. Starting at the bottom, the base is plastic and is not weighted. The shaft that goes into the base is not bolted, it’s a push in. The head assembly that goes onto the shaft is not bolted either, it just slides on and it wobbles. If you pick up the fan by the head assembly it just slides off. You have to use 2 hands and hold the shaft and the head assembly to move it. The rear grille is plastic and the front grille is metal. This fan does not blow very hard on high which was disappointing to me. It is quiet but it doesn’t blow hard. The fan does oscillate with remote control and manual control which I really need because of my disability. This is my first day with this fan and time will tell on how long it will last.

Runs quiet when dial is on 3 or 4 setting. I have it in my bedroom , hasn't bothered me yet. It's a good fan for the price 👌. I would definitely recommend it. The Remote is an added bonus, also has a timer.

This is my second, exact, pedestal fan. They are in bedroom keeping all of us nice and cool at night.

I have run this since May 2023. The fan motor , the construction throughout is Good. But....there,s one poor , and typical problem. The fan blade is unbalanced. Thicker plastic than the cheap models out there, but on full speed especially, the whole unit vibrates. The base, as a circular convex, as viewed from above, acts as a sounding drum to the above shudders. I stripped the entire fan structure down , tightened various parts, added a washer here and there, snugged the upright.. Sat the whole thing on a padded base. To no avail. The plastic fan , for the sake of a few Yen , corrupts this otherwise excellent product. Get the blade balanced, or cast to a true standard, and it would be perfect. The drumming almost made me give it 3 stars, but i gave it 4. Update....its now a couple of years later. It runs well still. I have bought a 2nd as well, and it is as perfect as one could hope for. 5 Stars now. A really good fan, and as the world descends into Super-Heat thanks to Trump, his mob, his gangs, and Industry freaks,... so i will buy more of these fans to stay alive.

Tubing is plastic so not terrifically sturdy if trying to move - takes two hands. Makes a slight noise on oscillation at the extreme ends on both ends but I got used to it.

It serves its purpose. You get what you pay for .

I've been using colorful wallyworld fans for years but finally decided to actually invest in a quality one and I am BEYOND happy with my purchase. I thought the remote control would be overkill but having the ability to adjust things without getting out of bed has been a game changer, especially for my insomniac self - the less I have to move in order to improve my sleep temperature the better. It's one of the quieter fans I've ever owned, but I also like the sound of a fan, so it's the perfect level, if that makes sense? I haven't played with the timer or temperature functions, but I bet they're just as awesome. Can't wait to get another one!
