Microwave Oven Synchronous Motor Replace for Frigidaire 5304464113 and for Panasonic F63265G60AP F63265G60CP

If your microwave stops turning you will probably discover a raised hump on the underside bottom sheet. It is held in place with tiny attachments. It requires a set of wire cutters to cut loose at its attachment points, but it is meant to allow changing the motor without taking the microwave completely apart. When you're done, the hump part is easy to reinstall with one screw. Different microwaves use different motors, but this is the one for mine and restored my microwave to perfect operating condition

Turns a little faster than stock, but saved me from replacing the whole oven! Has held up for over a year for a few bucks.

I guess compatible doesn't mean that it will fit exactly. I have the model as stated in this statement from the item description. ("Compatible With Frigidaire Microwave 5304464113") Same voltage and power, same mounting post, and same electrical prongs. However when I went to install the motor I noticed that the "D" drive shaft on the replacement was larger than the "D" drive shaft on the original. Since I had taken the microwave apart to repair this I was determined to make this work. I got out the Dremel and made a few passes and was able to shim down the "D" shaft until it fit. (Compatible not Identical)

The product was not as intended, the shaft was bigger in diameter and didn’t fit the coupler.

Took out the failed motor, the new one fit right in, worked perfectly! And way cheaper than a new microwave. It's a 10 minute job, you can do it!

This was supposed to be an exact replacement for the same motor model number in my old microwave oven. It was not. The new motor itself worked fine, HOWEVER, the shaft of the new motor was thicker than the older motor version from my microwave oven. I had to use my Dremel and ream out the inside of the turn table spinner attachment so the thicker shaft of the new motor would fit. Took me about 15-20 minutes, but worked fine once the spinner fit on the new motor shaft. To me, that's a lot of extra work required for a low dollar item just to make it work. Somewhere the specs on the drive shaft of the motor had changed. Maybe the motor should be sold with a matching turn table spinner as a combo to ensure fit and function.

The photo is the old motor burnt out with a replacement turn table piece. Thankfully after research we decided to bite the bullet on a 35.00 part vs if it even exists 150+ part. We did the same with the turn table plastic piece when we first moved in. Thankfully reviews said we'd have to dremmel the plastic down a bit to fit. It sure did and works great !

My microwave turntableI did not turn anymore. I knew it needed a synchronous motor replacement. I checked the exact model was TY50-8A2 but it is 4x more expensive. I think because it is an old model. This TYJ50-8A19 is the closest I could find. The problem was the shaft "D" shaped did not fit in my plate drive knob. I read a review from a U.S. customer (in April 2022) that mentioned the same problem. He was able to swapped the keyed shaft from the old and new motors. However, I couldn't open the synch tabs from the new montor. I ended up sand down the new motor shaft to the right size since it made with plastic. It's important to find a motor with the same power (120v, 60Hz, 2W). This one is 6 rpm; the 8A2 was 5 rpm, but it doesn't matter. It fits well with same screw and functions well, saved 60$ from a 8A2 motor and a few hundred $ for a new microwave. I live in Canada; this product shipped from U.S. It took 6 days from order to delivery; it's acceptable. Other vendors said the delivery will be in 3 weeks. I guess they ship directly from China.
