I I good grips corn prep peeler is a great choice if you want to peel fresh corn. It really helped save time with the 50 ears of corn I put in the freezer. The size was as described and the blade is still sharp after using so the peeling ability is something I will use again and again. Great value for the money

Moved back to the Midwest and started getting fresh corn more often. Using a knife, even with any "trick" on the internet, usually makes a mess, so we tried this out. It's better. The grippy handle is nice, and helpful for when it occasionally gets stuck. This tends to be a better option than the knife, peeling off clean strips with less effort than other tools. It feels safer too, but I'm also bad with knives in general. It's a decent tool to have if you're an amateur in the kitchen like me.

If you cut corn off the cob, buy this. It does the job faster, and cleaner than a knife, and it’s fun to use.

My dad loves this corn peeler. he had trouble with his teeth and cant eat corn off the cob anymore but he loves fresh corn. This tool allows him to have the corn without the struggle. Its very easy for him to use and the handle is large enough for him to hold comfortably without it slipping around because its too small.

I cut fresh corn off the cob pretty frequently so I was hoping for a tool that would make this quicker and neater than using a knife. Unfortunately, this does neither of those things. It does a good job getting close to the cob, but it doesn’t really have a smooth motion, so you wind up with a jagged line wear some places it’s closer to the cob and others not close at all. I would say the worst part is that it makes much more of a mess than using a knife does. I’m in the habit of covering things in the area with a tea towel when I am cutting corn, but the spray from this was all over me and corn kernels went flying. So, it works if you’re not all that comfortable doing it with a knife, but it’s not going to be my chosen method going forward.

Excellent kitchen tool and it works well to remove corns, as advertised.

I wish I'd bought one of these years ago. It strips corn kernels off the cob with ease and much faster than using a knife. It also produces fewer part kernels. Comfortable to hold. Simple to use. However, as others have said, the serrated edge is very sharp.

This product is great! It does take a few trys to get the hang of it but I love it. You dont waste any corn and it makes the corn cutting process so easy.
