If you're like me, your childhood was peppered with Eurythmic songs, but you don't particularly feel the need to get into the deeper cuts. I've had a couple of Eurythmics and Annie Lennox albums in my life, but I'm not such a die-hard that this doesn't fill the holes in my collection. The track list includes "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)," "Here Comes the Rain Again," "Who's That Girl?" "Missionary Man," and "Sisters Are Doin' It For Themselves," all remastered, along with several other solid tracks. It also includes two singles from the 1999 album, "Peace." Both of these tracks, "17 Again" and "I Saved the World Today" are solid songs worth having, even if they lack nostalgia value. Returning Eurythmics fans may be interested in the two original songs, "I've Got A Life" and "Was It Just Another Love Affair?" Both songs are solid, but I'm not sure either is enough to merit a purchase of the album. Maybe, if you're a die-hard fan, the individual tracks are worth it, but neither grab me as a more casual fan of the duo. They do prove that Annie still has some fine pipes, though. As far as their best material, I can't really say. This collection gave me what I wanted and needed from a collection, and is a solid compilation. And if you want to go deeper, there's always the remastered albums.

I’m not a huge fan but it’s a good album. All their hits. Recommended.

If you want a collection of Eurythmics hits, this is the CD for you..From Sweet Dreams, to Sister's are doing it for themselves (a duet with Aretha Franklin).this CD definitely doesn't disappoint.

Nostalgie du bon

Its very difficult to go wrong with this disc IF you do not own any EURYTHMICS music ( which i do not ). This CD is literally all the top hits that the band had through their many years together. A grand total of 19 tracks all hits to greater or lesser degree. not a single filler song in the entire disc. This would be a wonderful CD to have in the Car i suppose. It covers the entire length of their career together and will narrow down the necassity of holding down a great deal of space with other Eurythmics discs. For a person such as myself who liked their music but only marginally this is a great way to have their sound without having to dedicate a great deal of space to them.
