These stainless quick release deck hinges are worth every penny. I had some smaller vinyl hinges for my delta canvas and wanted to use them for a new 8' bimini. However, the end caps on the new bimini were longer and, as such, the holes would not line up. I had the new vinyl hinges that came with the bimini but they didn't line up with the existing mounting holes in the boat. What to do? Drill more holes in my boat? try another bimini with smaller poles? How about purchase an upgrade to the hardware? These stainless hinges are solidly built, Look fantastic, mount to existing points and are tall/deep enough to accept the longer end caps! Perfect!! These hinges mounted right up in a few seconds and now I can run my delta/camper canvas in spring/fall and quickly change out for the bimini in summer. The best part is the quick release feature. It allows you to drop the bimini in seconds without unscrewing the hinge points. Just press the spring and line up toggle, done! store the pins in the mounts so there's noting to lose. Now you can run full out with the bimini stowed. I am extremely satisfied with these hinges and can absolutely recommend them.

These are solid cast stainless hinge clevises that are polished to high gloss on the exterior surfaces. So far, it looks like they will fulfill my needs and remain corrosion free.

Work great! Way better than plastic ones that come with the canopies because the nuts could fall out of those during setup. It also avoided lots of screwing those in...gets hard to do with arthritis!!
