Deluxe Steer & Stroll Trike

I bought this for my three year-old for his birthday and he absolutely loves it. I live on a large farm so it’s durable versatile in the grass on the gravel. I love that I can steer it, and he can also peddle on his own. It’s the perfect size.

Smaller than expected. Not well suited for taller toddlers since pedaling with your knees in your chest is difficult and uncomfortable. Parent handle was helpful.

While this makes it easier for me to assist my child by pushing, it does pose a challenge when he wants to pedal independently. In those cases, he needs to put his feet down to stop or reverse, which can be a bit tricky for him. Similarly, the braking mechanism is another area of concern. Since he can't hold onto the pedals for braking, it can be difficult for him to come to a complete stop on his own. This means I need to keep a close eye on him, especially when he's navigating busy areas. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to assemble this trike. It took me about 20 minutes, and the instructions were clear and straightforward. Despite these minor drawbacks, the Radio Flyer trike provides hours of entertainment and helps my child develop coordination and balance. Plus, the classic red design is timeless and appeals to kids of all ages. Overall, while there are a few quirks to navigate, the Radio Flyer Deluxe Steer & Stroll Ride-On Trike is a durable and enjoyable ride-on toy that will keep your little one entertained for hours.

We had a nice tricycle, and my 2 year old grandbaby wanted to ride it so badly, but they are made to pedal. A 2 year old doesn't understand pedaling. He just wanted to scoot it with his feet, which doesn't really work, and he would get so frustrated. Now, he loves this one, and so do I! He learned to pedal in one day, and was so proud of himself that he had to show everyone he could find lol. Now, I still have to help (push) some from time to time, and I love how easy it is for ME to steer it when needed, because for some reason he is obsessed with ramming parked cars. I would recommend this trike all day long, especially for Grandparents that can't bend all day to push the regular trike. This one is a genius upgrade!!

Always loved radio flyer brand! I love this for my son and the idea of having the option to push him and maneuver for him is really awesome! However the free style pedal is making it difficult for my son to grasp the idea of pedal forward. :( because he can also pedal backward. And that clicking sound when he pedals backward seems to amuse him. Btw pedaling backward does not make the bike go backwards. Other than that it’s all good! Easy but Takes 2 people to assemble. Love the little storage in the back it makes my son feel like a little man having his little gadgets in the back like a trunk! Oh but the tires are plastic not rubber so after first use it looked worn out.

I bought this for my babies third birthday this year. I wanted the pink however I did not get to purchase the pink because it was out of stock at the time of my purchase. However, the red can go to because I think it’s a mutual color for girls. I got it. It weighed about 17 pounds. It came partially fitted up, however I got someone to fit up the parts for me and it was not hard to follow the instructions that were given in the booklet. It is strong looks durable. It is a shiny red. The color is not too dull And it is good entertainment for the children and gives them good exercise too. I totally endorse you purchasing this for your child. It is a goodbye and it will hold a child older than three year old because it is not small or not too big for them.

Yes, Grandparents. We got this tricycle for our 2-year old grandson's birthday. It's fantastic. It was easy to put together with minimal effort. It's smaller than the regular sized tricycle so his feet can reach the pedals! The handle bar in the back is the BEST EVER! No more bending down to help toddlers learn how to steer or pedal! Back Saver!!! The BONUS is you can steer the front wheel with the push bar! YES, you are in charge to gain ground even if they decide not to pedal. The seat is a perfect width to help keep them in over rockier ground and bumps. We have abandoned the stroller. The "boot" in the back holds snacks and a diaper. Thank you Radio Flyer!! I'm helping pedal that grandson to nap time daily! He loves it too!

My neighbor's son has one of these, so decided to get my son one, he is 3 1/2. He loves it! He did not know how to pedal or steer very well when we first got it, so we would help him with the steering control bar. Now that we have had it for a few months, he is pedaling it all by himself for the most part, only needing assistance on steep inclines or when he is being "naughty" :). I can grab the handle to stop him from crossing the street, which is a real peace of mind. The steering control bar is removable, so when we feel he no longer needs assistance from us, it can easily be removed by pulling the retaining pin at the bottom and removing it. The quality is decent for the price point, and it was not that complicated to assemble. I did find that I had to snug some of the bolts/screws after a few months, the one that fastens the handlebars can loosen up after some use. Would highly recommend this tricycle for toddlers!

Easy to assemble. Perfect for my 2 year old and 3 year old grandsons. They have some independence, but grandpa and I have ultimate control with keeping them going in the right direction, or pushing them when the get tired. The boys love these tricycles!

Muy recomendable, la compramos porque una vecina la compró y nuestra hija se subía y bajaba sin problema con 1 año 10 meses. Cumple todas las características que comenta, excelente embalaje y excelente ensamblaje, práctico. Nada complicado. Sumamente resistente a los golpes y sin duda le servirá por un par de años más. Su precio es similar a otras marcas que no tienen las características de los pedales ni de la palanca guía para los padres. Llego también muy rápido.

Two year old grandson very chuffed with it and his parents are able to push it without bending over. He loves putting his ball and lunch in the boot for the ride to the park. His steering is showing no improvement, however!
