Spalding High Bounce Ball

A blast from the past! High bounce for sure! Granddaughter loved it! No odor! Sturdy “rubber” ball! Value fine. Spalding usually good quality!

AWESOME.This is exactly what I was looking for. Wanted to hit a ball against the wall at work during breaks to move around a bit, and this is perfect for handball / wallball! Met some pretty lady asked to join me. Before long, I'll start organizing wall ball tournaments at work to play in the courtyard. hahaha A+ + light / bouncy (rubber material with hollow inside. There are no holes or spouts to inject/release air) + soft, powdery touch makes for easy gripping + squishy enough to be used as a stress / squeeze ball + love the sound as it bounces (therapeutic). (sounds like a tennis ball that was smacked hard with a racket) It's so bouncy I accidentally hit it over the wall and lost it. Time to replace! I wish they'd come in more colors so they can be more easily located. SIDENOTE: For what it is, it's kinda pricey, but it's a good product.

An old fashioned ball made for an old fashioned grandma

This is the ball that every New York City kid grew up with. In the old days. I bought it for my 3 1/2 year old grandson. It has a great bounce and is the perfect size for kid's hands. I told him that kids used to call it a Pinkie, so he calls it that also. It is good to bounce against the garage door.

I’ve always heard about this famous “Spaldeen” ball and couldn’t wait to get one. Like othets, I grew up playing all sorts of games with the perfect bouncy ball, but new had one of these. Decades later, I still think a ball with a high bounce is cool to “play” with. I had previously ordered a set of three multi-colored rubber balls, much like a racquet ball and they are great. When this ball came in, costing more, I expected a cool ball, with a lot of bounce. Nope ! This ball does not bounce well at all. Even a blue racquet ball bounces higher, especially the red ones. I’m very dissappointed and started to return it, but didn’t. I’m guessing the old originals were much better than these newer ones, much like the crappy new “Superballs”. But, I never had an original, so I can’t make a comparison, but these don’t bounce high at all, compared to other types I have. UPDATE - Many have asked about the exact size of this ball, so I posted a video with several other options for comparison. Size - 7 13/16" (circumference) 60mm (diameter)

Hollow and lightweight ball that you can keep in your pocket. But does not have the feeling of pitching a heavy baseball. Intended for humans, not durable for dogs -- that would cost a lot more.

Was a present for grandson and it’s not high bounce. He was completely disappointed buy the tennis ball type bounce. Though it would be more of a super ball type of bounce.

It's a Spalding what's there to say? They are great

Great ball for a dog both medium (black lab) and small. Had issues with our dogs ripping the felt off of tennis balls which is not good for them since they would swallow it. This ball is very durable, large enough for them not to swallow (but may vary for large dogs), and has a great bounce that my dogs love since it adds extra play for them. They also like the balls when playing alone since they tend to bite down on the rubber which sends the ball across the room making them chase it.

I bought this ball to replace the previous one that lasted 4 years. Sadly this one only lasted a few months. it split despite me using it far less than the other balls to throw around in the backyard. I am guessing production has shifted to a cheaper market, and that's had an adverse effect on reliability. Will not recommend buying this or at least not from this seller
