I needed something to boost the wifi on my raspberry pi 3+, as even mods to the built in antenna didn't help the signal get through our chunky walls. This is a simple plug and play unit, and the drivers are already available in the os, so wlan1 pops up moments after plugging it in. I was so happy with it that I even disabled the onboard wifi to prevent any risk of interference (just put dtoverlay=pi3-disable-wifi at the end of your /boot/config.txt if you've got a pi 3). I should point out that this is only a 2.4GHz device, so those looking for top speeds won't be impressed. But 2.4GHz has better penetration through obstacles and is much more reliable in marginal conditions than 5GHz signals, so I'm happy to make the compromise. All in all this is a simple wifi upgrade. Now I get 2-3 bars signal strength, instead of a fat 0 :)

We don't have very good WiFi in our home and reception to our Brennan B2 on Internet radio kept dropping out when using the standard WiFi dongle. I decided to give this a try and I'm pleased to say it has transformed the performance. The Brennan now connects to the WiFi almost instantly and stays connected. Highly recommended.

The wireless adaptor is small, easy to use a little cheaply made, but it does the job at a low price so far so good, a month on and I'm still happy with it.

I have plugged this into my usb socket in the back of my Brennan B2 to supply WiFi to listen to radio stations. It worked immediately. There is a supplied small cd which seems useless as how do I use it? I do not have a CD player capable of playing it. Putting it into the Brennan cd socket, which takes full size cds, seems to me to be risky.

Don't bother with these i have gone through 2 in as many months. 1st one stopped working after about 3 weeks I thought it might have just been a faulty one and ordered another after using the 2nd one for about 2 weeks it also just stopped working.

The item was detected by Windows and I even managed to update the drivers, bit it failed to detect any WiFi networks. I also tried it on two other Windows machines, a Linux machine and also a Raspberry Pi - nothing detected. I had to return as faulty.

At first it worked perfectly and all I was gonna do was upgrade the antenna, worked on Windows and Linux with monitor mode and appreciated mode capabilities. But after a few weeks it stoped being recognised with pop up saying usb device faulty or something along those lines, I have tried everything but seems to have just stopped working.

Decent wireless adapter for wifi but bought as this chipset is known to work with kali out of the box. Unfortunately, that is not the case even after trying countless things to get it to work. If you are looking for a cheap wifi adapter, this is fine. If you are looking for something to work with kali out of the box go with one by alfa.

I run Volumio on a Raspberry Pi 3B with a Allo Boss 2 DAC. I had problems streaming stations that have FLAC format files and using the built in WIFI on the Pi. I read that the WIFI is OK for average use but not great for high bit rate streaming. I bought this adapter to see if I got any improvement but I was skeptical. Volumio does not provide an easy way to change WIFI sources or disable the built in transceiver. Originally I was getting 30-35MB/s on the 2.4GHz signal. Signal strength on the 5Ghz band was too low to use. Now I am getting 260Mb/s average... but on the 5Ghz band, not the 2.4ghz band. This adapter makes no mention of 5Ghz support. Maybe the Pi is using some hidden function of adapter? Whatever the explanation, it sure works well for my needs!

Utilisé dans mon cadre professionnel pour des tests d'intrusion. Les drivers sont intégrés d'office dans Kali Linux. L'interface est détectée directement. Elle supporte le mode monitor et le mode packet injection.

Ohne Installation bei Kodi und Raspian sofort erkannt. Keine externe Stromversorgung durch Hub nötig. Enorm guter Empfang auch vom Rigips verschalten Dachboden durch Wände und Decken in die tiefere Etage. Bisher der beste WLAN-Stick den ich hatte. Keine Abbrüche oder Schwankungen. Meine Empfehlung.

Funzionamento plug&play su Raspberry Pi 4. Testata con Kali Linux (RPi 2020.3a); funziona sia normalmente sia per... altro. Convive senza nessun problema con l'interfaccia wireless integrata del Pi4. Portata discreta, senz'altro superiore rispetto a quella integrata. L'antenna in sé è smontabile e ha il connettore standard. Unica pecca: lavora solo a 2.4 GHz, niente 5 GHz. Poco male però.

Lo compre basicamente para esto y funciona perfecto sin hacer nada. Se puede usar como Hotspot.
