Kumisizer: The Kumihimo Braid Diameter Sizing Tool (Set of 2)

I wish I saw these sooner ! Great little, simple , practical tool . Extremely helpful, makes life a whole lot easier than trying to guess the size of the opening in your clasp . I tried that and it’s not easy and can come out looking sloppy. This simple specialty tool solves that . Highly recommend !

I really like the idea that I can determine the width of my finished projects with my Kumihimo bead loom. In the past, it was difficult to get findings to complete my projects or to find beads that were compatible. With this measuring tool, I am able to quickly gauge the diameter of my work in progress and when I need to get findings to complete my projects, I now can tell what size that I will need!! Very useful!! I wish that they came with every Kumihimo bead loom!!

I'm finding more and more uses for these. I recently needed to size some beads and was trying to use a ruler, then I thought of this sizer in my toolbox. Super quick and easy to size beads with... It's also very useful for its intended use as well. IMHO, it's fairly accurate in measuring size.

Works great. Easy to measure the size of Kimohimo braids. I have a calibrator but this gives an accurate measure of the size you need to have for beads and connectors. The problem is, that more Kimohimo braids are soft and trying to measure what will fit is a challenge.

These disks fit right in my purse and are readily available whenever I need them. The measurements are accurate and now I don't have to guess or haggle on what size end caps/covers I need for my kumihimo beaded braids which used to be the case. They save me a lot of time and money. They're also great for double checking the diameter of the caps and covers when I get them jumbled together as I am able to lay them over the holes for verification.

When working with any weaved, braided or fiber cording it's important to know the exact diameter in order to use the correct findings for the ends. When I work with Kumiloom, hand Weaving or any other fibrous creation the finding is chosen based on the diameter of that piece. There can be variations in designs and fibers. You want the exact sized findings--this is the best tool I have found to take the guess work out of finishing my creations!

A dream come true for me, forever metric challenged, after wasting money on wrong size end caps and clasps. Now all I have to do is pull my finished product through the appropriate hole and, voila, I will now know in a flash what size cap to purchase. My only complaint is that this wasn't out years ago. Fabulous invention.
