Just what the doctor ordered...
Nice to find these to keep my great, easy to use, old time with vent and no doohickeys that make the new containers impossible to use or last, containers going. Worked on both my Rubbermaid and Gott 5 gallon containers. Those had more like 1-3/4" OD gaskets, but these stretched sufficiently to fit. Actually probably better as it is good and snug now. Seem like a more robust gasket than the original ones that were thinner and rounded off. These seem like they'd stay in-place better and seal better with the right angle sides. Time will tell more, but, so far, so good. (keeping the originals for a while, just in-case).

Gasket for Sceptre gas can
I have several 2 year old (5 Gallon) gas cans that I purchased from Wall-mart that I use to store gas in my shed for my Generator in case of emergency. Every 6 months I rotate my gas to keep it fresh. This last rotation I noticed all of the gaskets were deteriorated. These were a perfect replacement for the Sceptre gas cans. Now that I know that gasoline will eat away at these type of gaskets, I added some Silicone grease to them in hopes that it prolongs its life.

Fits ez-flow spouts.
Gaskets got the high flow gas can nozzles perfectly. Just four stars because they never seem to let long. Always keep a dozen on hand.

It WORKS.
Have had the same jerry cans for a long time, long enough that I was down to one functional spout. Funtional=doesn't leak. All the o-rings had worn out a long time ago. I measure the OD of my nozzles where the o-ring fits, and the description and other reviews here are very helpful. These fit nice and snug on my nozzles, and now none of them leak in the least. Wish I'd have picked these up a long time ago.

Cannot hold up to gasoline
Bought a pack of 6. Only needed one, but since I had extra I decided to replace seals on 3 other gas cans at the same time. Within 1 month, all 4 seals started to leak. On investigation, every seal had got soft and “squishy” (best way I can describe). It appears that the material the seal was made from had been softened up by the gasoline. Now I have 4 leaking gas cans, instead of 1. I regret I trashed the 3 old seals. Don’t buy!!!

As advertised
These gaskets are known to wear out very quickly on gas jugs . Why they don’t include an extra gasket with jug when purchasing is just pure marketing. I’m glad i came across these . I have so many gas jugs all because of this gasket wearing out .

Cheap, and okay
Bought these for our old gas cans, whose gaskets had broken after years of use. Supposedly direct replacement. And, if it's cold enough, they're good. But as the weather warmed (and since we use it for the mower, so most of the use is in warm weather), the material softens. Resulting in their easily coming off of the spout. Always have to put it back on after every use. Just wish that they fit tighter. That said, if you do put it back on carefully, it does prevent the leak for that time's usage. Thus the 3 star, as well as the 5 stars in installation (might be better if it was tighter and harder to install!) and value (after all, it wasn't expensive).

Perfect fit
These were a perfect fit for my old gas can. My old gasket was deteriorated and leaking but this solved that problem.
