Wonderful Novelty
I saw these in a culinary magazine and was intrigued, so I decided to try them. Bought a box of 30 or so for my holiday gift baskets last year and they were a big hit. I love champagne so these were a great excuse to open bottles of bubbly for the holidays. Its just a neat effect, watching the blossoms unfurl as the bubbles rise up- just not as dramatic as you would think. Still, pretty fun. And tasty! Makes for a different cocktail than the standard holiday fare. Would probably be very romantic for Valentine's. Lots of recipes out there for using these are dessert garnishes and cooking with them and the syrup they come packed in too. Sweet, almost a raspberry-rhubarb-vanilla flavor. Goes very well with a nice dry champagne. Little expensive for regular drinks but good to break out for special occasions or as little gifts. I think the best price I found was Amazon, but that was about a year ago. Arrived quickly and in perfect condition- came in a large box, very protected. Overall, I'm very satisfied with them and hope for more excuses to break them out!

Go for it!
I have purchased these several times. They are definitely a show stopper in a champagne glass with prosecco. They are delicious too!

Great taste and awesome look
Bought these to try them out for our signature wedding cocktail. We put 1 in the bottom of a champagne glass, did NOT add any additional syrup that the flowers are packed in, and filled the glass with champagne. The end result is a lovely pinky colored drink with a great treat at the end! The flower itself has a great taste. I did try 1 drink with adding a tidbit of syrup and I found it made the drink very sweet and very dark colored. I prefered just using the flower alone (which has some syrup attached to it unless you wash it off). That tiny amount of syrup that coats the flower gave the drinks the perfect pink color we were looking for without making it sweet. It really is a great look!

If you've never mixed with champagne...
I recently was introduced to a hibiscus flower champagne, and ordered these to make my own at home! Absolutely perfect! The flowers taste like an adult fruit roll up! Buy them and try it. I suggest one flower, placed in the bottom of the glass, pour over the champagne and just a couple drips of the syrup! They are a little hard to get out of the jar, but just gently stab the middle with a fork (shrimp forks work awesome or just any smaller fork) and lift out!

Bellissimo
The only reason I am giving this 4 & not a 5 star is because I had to wash the jar with hot water since the syrup leaked.during shipping that said. I put the flowers into my champagne flutes & poured the prosecco .over them they opened up beautifully, then I put a drop or two of the syrup on top which ribboned down the glass very dramatic. Be sure to do this in front of your guests. \

Great fun and nice taste
My first jar was given to me as a gift. It took a while till I decided to give it a try. Great fun and nice taste. The flowers didn't open as expected, but that was not too bad as they look nice in the drink and you can eat them. The syrup is sweet but not too sweet. Good in champagne or seltzer water. Makes a nice gift. I have since ordered four more.

Awesome Hibiscus Flowers
These Hibiscus Flowers are awesome! When I visited a winery in Arizona back in 2010, the owner of the winery put a Hibiscus Flower in my wine glass, then poured sparkling wine over it. The color of the flowers streamed upward with the bubbles. The taste was phenomenal so I bought a jar to take home. I added a flower in my Champagne flute and enjoyed immensely. Mmmmm! Recently, friends of mine wanted to know where they could get a jar. I researched the winery I went to and they did not have the Hibiscus Flowers as a product in their online store. Then a light bulb went off! Go to Amazon.com. Lo and behold, when I keyed in "Hisbiscus Flowers", this same product at the Arizona winery showed up on Amazon. You can re-use the same flower in one sitting when adding more Champagne or Sparkling Wine. Yum!

Excellent and versatile product!
These hibiscus flowers in syrup are not "flowery" or "floral" tasting as some may think. They work great in drinks, (there are some recipes with the bottle that are excellent), as well as for desserts. For example, I had a cheesecake recipe calling for hibiscus flower topping made with a simple syrup. They are very similar to dried cranberries in flavor, but much more beautiful. I recommend this product to anyone who wants to add an exotic flair to mixed drinks, or to make a dessert more interesting and flavorful.

makes your drink fun
First time I saw the hibiscus flower in champagne, was in Poland. Not only the flute looked so much more appealing, but it made the drink better in taste, the flower itself is very delicious. I started looking for it on American/Canadian market and to my amazement, the product is available on Amazon. Hallelujah!! My friends were really amazed and enjoyed this addition to champagne/sparkling wine/ white or rose wine. You can also use it for ice-cream or any desert you can imagine.
