![Armour Of God [DVD]](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/A1yG84CysCL.jpg)

The Asian Hawk (Jackie Chan) comes to Europe in search of the magical 'Armour of God' (relics of Crusaders' armour), hoping to use it as bait in order to rescue his girlfriend from a cult. His search takes him all over Europe with his sidekick (Alan Tam) and, inevitably, into various violent confrontations. Jackie Chan also directed the film and performed all his own stunts. Review: This shows why Jackie Chan is a legend - Excellent movie and well worth watching too Review: Five Stars - great dvd loved it to pieces thank you no problems

The dubbing on this version is a bit annoying too, none of the voices sound appropriate
When it said "un-censored" on the packaging I thought I might be in for something special that I hadn't seen before, a fight scene or a stunt perhaps, but alas not. There is a bit of a pointless dream sequence that Jackie has and one or two bits of extended dialogue but thats it. The dubbing on this version is a bit annoying too, none of the voices sound appropriate, I prefer the old VHS dubbing. That aside, this is my favourite Jackie Chan movie. The "Asian Hawk" is hired to recover a lost suit of armour said to have magical powers from an evil cult living in a mountain fortress. Into the bargain he must help an old friend rescue his fiance from the same bad guys. Check out the sequel, "Operation Condor", both of these movies have jaw dropping stunts and fight scenes that will amaze.

a classic!
A cracking film and Im sure when I watched this Dragon Edition there were one or two enhancements or it looked different in some bits but it's a cracking movie nonetheless - However this Dragon Edition Bluray of Armour of God does not have English subtitles or dubb, which is why I have rated it 4 stars instead of the 5 stars.

This Fortune Star bluray release of Armour Of God is definitely great. Picture quality is very good, though it's an obvious upscale. English subtitles are available as the audio is Chinese, and those subtitles will give you a chuckle at the occasional bad grammer. If you've never seen it, Armour Of God is highly recommended. It's one of Jackie Chan's best movies from the 80s. Jackie plays "Asian Hawk", a former rockstar turned modern-day Indiana Jones type explorer who is in a battle against an evil cult that worship a snake god, deal in opiates and cocaine, commit violent acts of murder, kidnap people and indulge in prostitutes... Yikes! Have no fear though, Jackie beats 'em up. My only gripe is that this release has an Alan Tam song play over the ending instead of Jackie Chan's infamous tune Flight Of The Dragon which can be found on other versions. Not a deal breaker though. Get this version and stay FAR away from the US cut, which is erroneously titled Operation Condor 2 (fun fact- Operation Condor is actually the sequel to this, not the other way around).
