Why did you choose this product over others?:Great price, looks good and fits perfectly.Needed something to stop the bbq mess from ruining my clothes and this is perfect. Shoulder padding for added comfort and fully adjustable waist straps. Would 100% recommend.

Great apron. Really heavy duty canvas for great protection. Great for vegans/vegetarians like me who work with molten metal and sharp tools but don't wear leather. Comfortable fastening, plenty of room, pockets just where you need them. Would be great for any jobs and hobbies where protection is needed. I can wear it over decent clothes and take it off to emerge from my studio fit to receive visitors and clients!

When i picked up this item i was first negative. And thought no way can this be the apron.. i open the package and i was pleasantly surprised :)It was just a flat package and out comes a nice sturdy apron with some pockets and stuff just as advertised. Only way to make it sturdier is to make it thicc and less comfortable maybe leather, but then you dont get it this cheap eitherSo this is a good value apron, and i like the suspenders

Fantastic heavy duty apron, ideal for workshop environment…. But the added benefit of the waxed material also attracts wood dust like a magnet….Was turning some wood wearing this and the dust got into the fabric and wouldn’t come out. The washing instructions label states no machine washing, just wipe with wet cloth…. No use at all (and yet Amazon makes this as machine washable).I machine washed cold on delicate cycle with a non bio liquid soap (they recommend Castile soap…. But hard water creates a further issue with the use of this).So, you’ve got a decent apron…. You just can’t clean it properly…..

Bought this as a birthday present and was concerned that it would fit, despite being adjustable. However, I’m informed it fits well despite the guy being very tall and super thin. He loves the thought (deep pockets etc) and care (padded shoulder straps etc) that has gone into the design. The quality is great too. It seemed an expensive gift, but I guess you get what you pay for. The guy in question uses the apron for Lutherie (makes/repairs instruments) and says it is perfect for his needs.

I am an amateur woodworker aged 76 years and ashamed to say I've only just discovered how good a Hudson carpentry apron is. Infinitely adjustable straps make the putting on/taking off action a doddle once you've worked it out, with a bit of trial and error .... check it out on YouTube!!!! Very hard wearing with all the pouches & pockets you need. I've even attached a Toughbuilt clip to one of the side loops to carry a small pouch if needed and an iPhone sits securely in the top kangaroo pocket alongside pencil, rule, mini combi square etc. Love it, love it, LOVE IT !!!!!!

It's as manly as a manly apron can be, lol.It's incredibly stiff and well made. Easily a 10+ year apron looked after correctly.I have a 48" chest and was worried it may look small on me but it looks and feels great. The shoulder straps are comfy and it's easy to put on.I did run mine through the tumble drier just to loosen up the fabric a little. But it's well loved now and I would definitely recommend it

Wow! This is a super apron!! I was getting desperate to replace my old denim apron that I have worn off and on for decades, mostly off....when the string got to irritating my neck. I came close to getting some old sail canvas from a friend of mine and making my own, well until I found the Hudson product. I bought the gray one and I am very pleased. The apron is very comfortable. I like the reinforced places and the many pockets so I don't have to go looking for my pen, ruler, knife, etc. It is long enough and wide enough to keep my clothing protected. I consider this to be not just an apron, but part of my essential tools. I have had if for just over a week and put it through the test ground. I do mostly wood work, but also some stained glass jobs, and a bit of metal work too. This apron has stood up to everything without any complaints or problems.Follow up comments: I have worn this apron almost everyday now in my shop for five months. It is everything I expected and more. Even more comfortable now that it is broken in. Absolutely no problems and certainly it is the most comfortable apron I have ever worn. Certainly worthy of five stars.If you are serious about a really good apron, buy this one! You will be supporting a small business. Something that we all benefit from. I bought two Hudson Durable Goods - Professional Grade Chef Aprons over the last two years (I lost one in a wildfire that took our cabin) and I will not wear any other apron for grilling, smoking, or cooking. I have even used it in the garage when I needed to protect my clothing.Unfortunately, our family cabin of 54 years was lost in an arson-caused wildfire on Flathead Lake, MT in 2021. To rebuild and restart our legacy, I bought a portable sawmill to saw the trees from the fire and incorporate the wood into our rebuild of the cabin, sheds, etc. However, the outside charred bark gets on everything including my clothes as I am moving logs. So, to stay a little cleaner, save the wear and tear on my clothes, and based on my great experience with the Hudson Durable Goods - Professional Grade Chef Apron, I purchased the Hudson Durable Goods - Deluxe Edition - Waxed Canvas Tool Apron.Both aprons feature over-the-shoulder straps which move the weight from your neck to your shoulders. The waxed apron has shoulder pads too, but not sure how much they help as the load on the apron hasn’t been too much…yet. It's also easy to connect the straps in the back with a buckle rather than having to try and tie a knot behind your back.Although both are made of heavy canvas fabric the waxed canvas is ideal for sawing lumber and it will also be great when we get to the woodworking stage. The fabric is stiff because of its thickness and waxed properties, but it does not hinder your movement or its functionality.The other features I like are the pencil/pen and phone chest pockets. The four lower pockets are wide and deep and carry a lot including a nicely fitting speed/rafter/framing square. The two hammer loops will be handy in the future, but I have not found a use for them while sawing wood.Overall, this is a great working apron for the shop, woodworking, and sawing timber. Furthermore, I cannot find any drawbacks or the need for additional features that would prevent me from buying again. You will not regret buying this apron!
