Greek Feta Cheese DODONI, approx. 4 lb, Deli Fresh

As a feta cheese lover, I have been looking for a good quality cheese in every store for the last ten years. So, I gave Dodoni a try and bought the 4-pound container. I am so glad I did! The cheese is fully soaked in brine in a plastic container which was shipped in a box with ice gel packs. I could tell with certainty that it is the best feta cheese I have ever eaten in my life. It beats any store bought feta cheese in terms of flavor and texture. Highly recommended.

This is excellent feta! I have been buying it for years from various distributors. This is the only time the cheese has come in a plastic bag, and not packed in brine. Big mistake! I purchase once per year, divide into 1# packages and use as needed. With no brine, the cheese spoiled within 6 months. See picture below. My bad for not paying attention to how it was packaged. Just a warning to take note of this.

This is the only feta I will buy. Nothing in the retail stores compares. It's sharp and delicious! I only wish it came in smaller amounts. Instead we just pic out! lol

Dodoni is a very distinct kind of feta cheese that goes well with salads and also delicious if eaten as is. Very tasteful cheese packaged well and delivered fresh on time. I am going to be a repeat customer.

I wanted to know what authentic feta was like, having only had feta from the corner store for most of my life. Not disappointed. The taste is potent and rich!! Wrap a small piece of it in roasted seaweed. Could not be more delicious.

The flavor is awesome but this time the cheese came in a bag, with just a bit of brine. That made it very hard to store. Also, the weight was not the advertised weight. It was about a pound lighter, which pisses you off when you pay $80 for cheese. Love the product but won’t be buying again from this vendor.
