They are 2 inches long, so not the 2 3/4" standard. These jam up in my pup action 12 gage - so I use these instead: https://www.amazon.com/SPIKA-Hunting-Precision-Shotgun-Gague/dp/B07N646JML/

does this get jammed in the magazine tube?

Not only will they not jam, they won't stay in your magazine tube at all! They'll just come flying out when you try to chamber a shell. Seriously, they don't work at all. I have a Mossberg 500

Does it fit a maverick 88

I would think so, but I would not buy these snap caps. I have three or four and all have broke at the plastic lip on the base. No good.
