It helps my son when he has a electronic in the car, so I think it may help since they are both motion sickness.

How long can you wear them for in one day?

I kept mine on all day. They even got wet and still worked.

How long do they last or before you need to change it out

You need to wear new ones after each trip if you use them for a cruise because they stretch out over time and loose effectiveness. But for one time use, you can probably get a few days out of each pair.
