Very nice pump. Quiet, powerful and long lasting
Great pump and worth the money in my opinion. Itโs very quiet compared to others Iโve used. I purchased this one as a replacement for one that gave out after over 4 years of pretty much abusing it daily in a turtle tank filter system. I use it on the lowest setting all day every day and thatโs plenty of power for my system. Itโs able to suck the water up out of the 100 gallon tank through a 1 inch pvc pipe about 3 feet, back down about 3 feet, through about 2 feet of 4 inch pvc that contains filter media like lava rocks, polyester batting and activated carbon, through the pump, and then back up about 5 feet into the tank. All while being on the lowest power setting and remaining very quiet! Very impressive imo. It does get louder when the media needs to be cleaned and changed but it survives that too every time. Iโd recommend it for sure!

There are many good pumps around like the Danner pumps
I have been running the Jebao DC15000 in a 55 gal sump, and it has no problem pushing the water about 14 ft up from my basement to a 200 gl fresh water system, non stop since September 2016, and it doesn't sound like its going to "pull the plug" any time soon.So far it has been the best and the quietest pump for its size that I have,...very strong at level 4 setting. I also have the Jebao DC 3000 running a small 40 gl quarantine tank, non stop for 3 yrs now, and though I can hear it a bit...it also just keeps going without any apparent problem. I think the reason why a lot of people seem to have issues with these DC pumps IMO..is because I don't believe it is a good idea to be running them at the 100% level for an indefinite length of time,....you can be sure something is going fail. It makes much more sense to buy a pump that can adequately pump your flow requirements on the first, to the third or fourth level. That way your DC pump will idle away for any length of time without any problem and very little ambient sound,....They are just not made for a full "burnout" situation. Also it is far better to use an AC pump for very high head pressures. That being said, the big DC 15000 should not be subjected to anything more than 13 to 14 ft head pressure The lower the head pressure, and the lower the setting , the better they will run and the longer they will last. These DC pumps are often referred to as "Generic" no good pumps. But when you consider what that means.....it has the same active ingredients . so it has the exact same components as whatever is supposed to be the real thing. I have a number of these DC pumps, and it has to be said,...value for money , just doesn't get any better

After installing the pump I switched it on.........NOTHING......at least that's what I thought. ;)
BEST PUMP OUT THERE!!!! Okay, so obviously this is not the BEST pump available, but for the price you can't get any better than this, and frankly you won't want to. This pump has far surpassed all of my expectations. It arrived nicely packaged and in new condition. The included instructions are detailed and easy to follow. The pump has a plastic boxy but feels durable and heavy duty. After installing the pump I switched it on.........NOTHING......at least that's what I thought. I couldn't hear it running, I thought it was defective until water started gushing from my sump into my tank. This thing was running strong and I couldn't even here it. Granted I had an air pump running in the same room but it's not a loud air pump. The sound of the water flowing into your tank is louder than this pump. Aside from being whisper quest, it is very easy to adjust the flow rate. The included controller is simply and very effective. I had no problem dialing in the water flow to exactly what I needed.(I breed Discus so specific water flow is important) The controller includes a "feed" button. Pressing this temporarily stops the pump so food won't get sucked into your filter. I love this function and use it every time I feed! When powering up the pump slowly climbs to the desired flow. This is great because it doesn't suddenly spew water into your tank and gives the fish a little heads up. The pump is able to be sued as an internal or external pump. I LOVE THIS PUMP!!! I could wish for nothing more. This fits all of my needs and has surpassed my expectations. If you need a medium to high capacity pump, get this one!!

Great Pump.
So far this pump is working well for me. I have this pump installed on a Casco pet store aquarium system (like the ones they use at Petco stores). The system has 7 tanks, holding about 90 gallons of water. The tanks have a common sump, where the pump is submerged, that holds another 30 gallons. I am running this pump on about 3/4 of the maximum flow rate, which is very easy to set form the control panel. I use the feed hold daily and the slow start-up feature is easy on the plumbing and keeps my fish from getting blasted when the pump comes back on. The pump I replaced was a Reeflo Swordtail external pump. The Reeflo pump had a bit too much flow for the tank system, and wasn't directly controllable. The tank system's plumbing had a complex set of valves and return lines to help adjust the flow. It was hard to get the right balance of flow to each tank by adjusting all these valves. The Jebao pump's control panel has allowed me to remove the flow control lines and valves, and provides much easier push button flow control. Because it is submerged, the Jebao pump is super quiet. I would even call it silent. So far I am very satisfied with this pump's performance. The only thing that seems to be lacking for this pump is plumbing connection options. Even though the multiple size hose connector works, I would have liked to have the option to adapt this directly to the hard line plumbing of my system, without having to get creative at the hardware store buying parts to make an adapter. Using the included hose adapter in my system has the output sticking out the top of my sump instead of out the side where it belongs. It probably wouldn't be an issue if my sump were deeper, but it is only 13 inches deep. With the inclusion of some additional standard plumbing adapters, I would have rated this pump 5 stars.

Good Pump
The pump works really well and is dead quiet. The speed controller will increase the life of this pump (adjusted ball valves create a lot of head pressure that can kill ac pumps inside of 2 years whereas dc pumps can live 5+ years on adjusted flow) so that may help you in justifying the $100 price tag. Only complaint is that it was slightly noisy when I first set it up but the noise stopped after about 2 weeks and is now completely silent. The pump came with 2 universal hose adapters (for intake and output suggesting that the unit may be able to be used externally) and a strainer for the intake. I have mine submerged in my sump and use soft hose to connect it to my hard plumbing. I really don't recommend hard plumbing straight to your pump because it will make maintenance a nightmare. One thing to note, do not use the feed mode(stops the pump for around 10 minutes) if you do not have a check valve or something else to stop the siphon because this will back-flow. This is not a product defect just a reality with larger pumps.

The best pumps from Jebao/Jecod
I've been using this newer version 15000 pump now for just over 2 months, and I love it so far. They are quite, the water height is now 5.7 meters, instead of 5.0 meters, and the most important thing is that they kept the screws. I've bought the other newer models with WiFi that you twist in instead of the screws and they have all broken under pressure, also connecting them to the app is a huge pain in the butt, some worked while others didn't. To finish my review off, I've had the older versions of this pump work for 8+ years. My advice is for longevity, NEVER open them up and clean or service them cause they end up not starting again. If you want to clean them then dump the pump in white vinegar and water and run them overnight, then rinse in water before use again. They are so affordable compared to the big brands, so buy a second pump and keep it as a backup. I use them on saltwater tanks by the way.

Both of these did a good job pumping water and still work to this day
I have tried a couple different pumps in my current setup over the past 4 years. My initial pump is an Aqueon QuietFlow AQ2300 and then I stepped up to Rio 14HF. Both of these did a good job pumping water and still work to this day. But I always had a vibration sound no mater how much dampening I tried. They had rubber feet install, foam cutouts to rest on, and even wrapped water lines with foam where it made contact with any surface. Over time they do get quieter but still has this "Buzz" that is constantly going on. Once I setup the Jebao DCT 6000 I was worried it wasn't really running like it should. There is a extremely light "whine" when the motor is ramping up but goes away once set speed it reached. Another great feature for this pump is having the "Feed" button to stop the pump for 10 minutes, instead of constantly unplugging-plugging your pump. I also like how the DC pump slowly ramps up the speed; instead of just going full-bore once power is applied, gives fish and turtles a little heads-up. Now this is just my initial impressions of this pump and will update if accordingly if any issues arises. But for now this a 5 Star pump out the box. One more thing before I forget, this is a larger size pump compared to most AC pumps I used for my 75 gallon tank. Make sure to check that you have enough tolerance for it.

Good sturdy pump
I have a small pond for my ducks and this pump is perfect. My first one lasted me years. Just had to replace it.
