AquaHouse 2X Activated Carbon Filter for Siemens, Bosch, Neff, Balay, Constructa, Gaggenau & Pitsos Cooker Hoods (00360732, 00357585, 360732)

I bought these activated charcoal Fliters11 months before I needed to fit them in order to have them ready to replace annually as I have done since I got my Neff Cooker Hood many years ago.When they arrived I opened the boxes and checked that they looked correct size and shape, which they did, so I put them at the back of the cupboard.I was due to replace the filter on New Year's Day, so I tried to do so. The little plastic tab on one side that is meant to hold it in place simply snapped off as I fitted it into place. I had another so I tried that, and it snapped off too.They are useless/not fit for purpose and I'm sad!Picture 1 shows my old, intact filter on the left and the two new ones after the plastic tabs snapped off on rightPicture 2 shows the old one below and a new one above showing the tab in place and broken off respectively.It's too late for me to return them but I hope that the sellermight repsond by contacting me and replacing them....
