UPDATE: this stuff still continues to amaze me! Don’t even think twice about getting it, for the price you have nothing to lose, but this nail strengthener really works. My nails are so nice and hard yet they’re still a little flexible so that if I knock them on things, they don’t snap in half. I’m adding a few more pictures ( near silver laptop) and you can see how much my nails have grown since I wrote the last review two weeks ago. I have had this horsetail nail strengthener for about four weeks now… I was very attracted to the fact that it was cruelty free with no formaldehyde no tooling no formaldehyde resin no camper no DBP no TPHP and no Xylene. Clearly, they care about leaving out all the crappy chemicals that caused cancer. I also love that this is made in the USA. The instructions were clear applied to clean dry nails. Can be used as a base coat, a topcoat or standalone treatment. The suggestion is applying 2 to 3 times per week as needed, which is about what I have done over the last three weeks and my nails, not only look amazing but they are so strong. I have knocked them on a couple of things that normally would have busted a nail, but they have held up. I honestly can’t believe that I’m writing this review because none of the nail strengtheners I have ever used except for nailtique have worked. Nailtique is EXPENSIVE— this is affordable. I hope it never goes out of stock. I will attach pictures of my nails. I wish I had taken some before pictures. Please don’t judge my cuticles. I need a manicure desperately.

I love this product . First time I used it ,I noticed how smooth it glided on my nails and my nails didn't feel warm ,hot or irritated. ( My skin and nails are super sensitive 🥺 and I usually can tell the 1st time of use , if I can use a product or not ) . Its nit clumpy , nor is it thick . The price is reasonable ( or affordable) and they packaging is cute wirh readable ingredients that are healthy . My nails are "super fortified" using this product . As I use this product weekly 3 times a week , I noticed my nails are stronger and healthier looking, growing beautifully 😍. I will be buying it again .

My hands are in nitrile gloves for sometimes up to 2 1/2 hours at a time, and all that heat and humidity were causing the layers of my nails to separate, causing them to split and break (sometimes up to the skin) and making my cuticles hard and would break off and stick up. I tried growing my nails out and give them a good trim after work on Fridays, but they'd be broken and split immediately (already the layers were separated after I would cut them, no matter how short). I needed something drastic, and I'm a guy so I tried vitamins. Didn't solve the issue because it was from being in those gloves for so long (pretty much stripping the natural oils out of the nails). So I tried clear nail polish, and that didn't help at all. Then a coworker suggested nail strengthener (I never knew such a thing existed). I've been using it a little while, my nails stay together and no longer break. It is noticeable because it's clear but glossy (and guys typically don't have shiny nails, but like I said I was desperate and was willing to try anything). It does have a smell, but after a bit it dries and you can only smell it if your fingers get close to your nose for a couple hours. I typically reapply it every other day, and Friday it's sometimes thick enough you can peel it right off. I've thought about getting nail polish remover because when it peels off my nails look a little dull, but I don't need to grow them out anymore and they no longer break and peel! I have noticed after the first layer it's much easier to get air bubbles in it, and being a guy I'm not used to this so an occasional scuff, rough spot, or empty spot from bumping to scraping into something happens, but even then as long as a majority of the nail is covered it protects your nails!

This works very well to strengthen the nails. I like that it's tinted purple, sometimes polish can tint yellow so I use this as a base to prevent that.

I was really looking forward to forward to hopefully writing a very positive review of the product. It has improved my nails in some ways but the polish peels off after the 3 rd application in a a 7 day period many times taking portions of the nail off. So I haven’t seen a real improvement in my nails over time. My nails continue to peel and break off . Also I have a quarter of the product left but the brush doesn’t go down to the bottom of the container so even when turning it on it’s side I can’t get enough on the brush to use so the rest is wasted. I’m disappointed!

This is the best clear nail polish that I have ever purchased. It stays on all week. I was trying to pry something apart and my hand slipped. I heard my nail crack. The nail broke but stayed in place because of the strengthening of the polish. I WOULD buy this again.

I’ve been using this nail strengthener, and I think I can see some growth, which is nice. My main issue wasn’t growth though, it was my nails breaking, and that’s what I really wanted to fix. So far, it does seem to be helping with that. I also like that I don’t have to paint my nails as often, which saves me time. It holds up through a lot of hand washing, and I like that about it.

The cap on the bottle wasn’t tightened, so there was polish in the ziplock bag. I had to use polish remover to get the bottle out of the spilled liquid. Not to mention the waste of polish which is expensive / droplet !!!
