Very easy to deploy. Worked great for our horses. Kept a horse at bay that was keen on leaning on easy to break rotten fencing. No issues with leaving up for multiple months while we addressed other more pressing issues issues on the farm.

Bought for protecting garden area from deer. Really needed its portable and flexible design. I’ve had to expand garden area and remove for topsoil delivery. So making changes is accomplished easily. The solar charger unit is necessary but ideal for my needs. The coiled wire (fabric with stainless steel wires) easily covers garden perimeter of 50 X 90 feet. The ten posts a part of this kit were not enough so I also purchased several of Gallagher’s temporary Fiberglass posts.

The poles included with the kit are not even numerous enough and the ones that were included bent after a few days in the ground. The electic “rope” is well made but the rest of the kit is of poor quality. Instructions on how to take it down would have been helpful..or a video ..something! No return box? Too bad ..you will have to purchase one to return the item.

I thought I’d give it a shot as I don’t like any fence that’s not positive negative but after I bought the fence, and seen how the connector is, it can be converted to positive negative. Also, there is an additional pole in each post if you take a wool sack needle. put your electric wire through it. You can quickly add an extra wire, which can also be made negative. Once you learn how to adjust the clutches it goes up in minutes and comes down in minutes. Hard ground pre-drill the holes. This is not a permanent fence it’s great when moving Sheep around from one fence area to another, when doing fuel brakes, etc., and to reinforce other fences

I was really excited to try this at first. It was super easy to put up. The first two weeks were amazing and worked perfectly until tonight. I was walking to put my horse up only to realize he was not in there. Turns out one of the line snapped, causing him to get loose. If it snaps after two weeks of use, it’s definitely not worth the $400. The only reason it’s two stars is because of how quick and easy it was to put up.

This is an awesome product for my goats. I have no had any problems yet.

I really like this fence. I can set up a rather large fence or paddock in a very short time by my self. Originally bought it to keep horses out of my vineyard but now using it to graze my alpine (large breed) goats on parts of my pasture during the day. This will really help me out until I can get permanent fences built. Been using with my goats for a month now with no escapes. I recommend this fence. Going to get a second on soon but my local farmers coop carry Gallagher equipment and is actually cheaper by about $60.
