Excellent Cutting Bit
Like all other Easy Wood cutters, this cutter does not disappoint. Clean cuts at low and high speeds, easy to install, easy to adjust as the edge starts wearing, and has quite a long life even when cutting very dense exotic hard woods.

By far the best carbide cutters on the market
By far the best carbide cutters on the market. I make my own tools just like many others out there. I have tried many cheaper carbide cutters and easy wood tool one last much longer, they hold the edge, as the saying goes.. tou get what you pay for. I just tapped this cutter and the screw tap is a 8/32.. after trying te 6/32 like previous posts.. way to small. 8/32 is perfect. I will continue to buy these cutters when i need replacements.

Excellent Product.
Nothing much to add to what already has been written. I've got no complaints about using this negative rake carbide cutter for cutting my fusion bowls. Highly recommend.

I found this to be a nice cutter, the edge was sharp and the cut it makes is rather clean. The cutter I received in the mail looked like it sat for some time so I did have to clean it up before i threw it on. After having spoke with customer reps at EWT tools before i was not going to try again. Like many others i made my own tool, i turned a handle after running 2 pieces of wood on a jointer and a router, put in some square tube stock, and mounted the cutter down with a 10/24 screw and bolt. If your using this do be weary, at the wrong angle it CAN and will kick back a bit. Though.. its not exactly the worst. It kicks back less than a dull chisel, so, not exactly the worst. All in all though I would give this four stars.

Does what it’s supposed to do.
Works well for certain projects. More forgiving than bowl gouges for beginners. Nice tool.

Easy to install
I have a full size Easy Wood lathe tool and the cutter was near the end of life. The cutter comes with a new screw and it is simple to remove the old cutter and install the new one with the new screw.
