Delicious taste
This is my new favorite tinned fish, delicious. The olive oil and lemon is the perfect mix, really complements the mackerel fillets. There is a good amount of fish in the tin, good value, and just fish meat no bones or scales.

Great flavor and light for lunch with great protein content in Olive Oil.
I bought this since they didn't have the sample pack in stock, like in forever... This flavor and Thai Chili is my go too. I tried all of them, don't really care for the Jalapeno and Mediterranean ones. And I love Jalapeno flavored anything.. but something just didn't hit right with those 2 other flavors. For a small can, this has a great amount of protein and it's in Olive oil, which is good for you. Good price for the 12 pack. Great for a light healthy lunch, goes good with mixed greens.

Delicious
Delicious. I'm kind of addicted to these. I was on a sardine kick but mackerel is even better. They taste buttery, and so savory. Good melt in your mouth texture without being mushy. Like a cross between Sardines and Tuna. The price is questionable though, as I bought them for $32 just a few weeks ago and this last time I purchased they were $39. Still worth it in my opinion.

King Oscar Mackerel a delicious alternative to tuna
This high quality mackerel is a delicious alternative to tuna. And this mackerel is healthy, packed in olive oil instead of unhealthy oils, such as cottonseed, that we see fish packed with too often.

Usually good
They taste nice but this second time I got them they arrived like this. Oil everywhere all over my other things. I'm waiting on a replacement.

Super delicious.
I’ve always liked canned sardines, kippered snacks and stuff like that. Mackerel, however, is by far the best tasting of them all. I’ve had the regular, lemon, and Mediterranean Style and they are super tasty. All packed in olive oil. Sometimes I’ll eat a can for breakfast. They’re a staple in my pantry.

Artificial lemon tastes like soap
I usually love all things lemon but this lemon flavor is just awful. Tastes very artificial and reminds me of soap. I have difficulty eating it straight from the tin as the fake lemon flavor is so strong and unappealing. Some ways I’ve masked the flavor is by patting the mackerel with paper towels and squeezing real lemon on top. I’ve also made mackerel potatoes patties with onion powder, Greek yogurt, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, black pepper which turned out quite decent though you can still taste the underlying fake lemon. Overall I do not recommend this flavor but the mackerel itself is pleasant with a nice texture. Not too fishy and easy to flake. The fish is not mushy in the tin. This amount makes for great emergency food.
