It works the battery wires was a little long and a little fat but you can cut wires to fit and you can get the battery to fit just be patient so far so good

Although the battery did arrive in a timely manor, I should have listened to the previous reviews. The battery that I was sent was too large to fit my fitbit charge 2. Even if I were able to squish it all into the tiny space, the wires alone were much too long and took up valuable space inside. The prying tools were also garbage, the tip of the plastic prying tools bends and becomes misshapen as you attempt to pry your fitbit apart.

The battery has same size as original. Installed it following youtube videos and worked perfectly. Very good buy!

Kit was not for my charge 2 model. Screwdriver was a torx but watch had Phillips screws. Pry tools broke quickly and battery did not fit into watch. Just slightly too big

careful! this battery said it is compatible with Fitbit Charge 2 its actually just slightly wider making it impossible to fit.

I really wanted to resurrect my failing Charge 2. It was still working fine after all these years and who wants to upgrade to a new version that doesn't have all the features of the old version, but I digress. Replacement is not for the faint of heart. You need more tools than included to heat the device, pry it apart, de-solder and re-solder the battery in place. If you can solder SMD you're in luck. (if you don't what SMD is you probably don't have the skills and tools to do this.) I replaced the battery in my Charge 2 in less than an hour. I put it on the charger and let it charge for a couple of hours past reading full. I then used it as normal and let it discharge down to empty (about 2.5-3 days). That was a little less time than I expected but I made sure on the next charge cycle to reset it in an attempt to re-calibrate the new battery. The next charge cycle didn't even last two days. I was kinda disappointed at this. Well, that disappointment didn't last long. The next charge cycle lasted about a day. Then I couldn't even get it to charge at all. Disassembly and inspection didn't show anything wrong. Even reflowed the solder in case I had a bad joint. Still won't charge at all. Fortunately, I was just within the return window. The included tools were of no real use. I had read enough review about the pry tools to not even bother (I have access to better quality tools). And the screwdriver I got was a Torx (star) driver rather than a Phillips screw driver that is needed.

This puppy is small so have steady hands & good eyes! Also have a small tip soldering iron. Make sure your model matches this battery or it will be an extremely tight fit.

Received overnight and (after some micro-surgery) works perfectly in my Fitbit Charge 2 HR. For $13 I get another year or two out of it rather than buying a new one.
