Easy to make and a great value for the price
I love to make this. It has flavor and zing. It's the right amount of spiciness, without being too spicy. It's also pretty cheap considering the other options. We have a Chinese takeout, and sometime I will get their hot & sour soup. If it's too bland, I add some of this to it and it makes it taste better.

Good flavor, but not hot & sour soup, more egg drop.
More like an egg drop soup. Ok flavor, just not what I was looking for.

OMG I was shocked how good this is
Are you picky about your Hot and Sour Soup? Do you grade your oriental restaurant based on the quality of the soup? Then you MUST try this soup. One big hint. When you add the egg be sure and follow the instructions to SLOWLY stir in the egg. This gives that fine light egg swirl rather the having an omelet floating in your soup. Yep. Ooops on me. Some of the restaurants with ok soup has one eating their soups. Why waste room on ok soup when I have delicious soup at home. Try it. If you don't like it, it's much cheaper than a restaurant disappointment. BUT...if you like it, you now have a cheaper option whenever you want it.

Needs a lot of customization
It doesn’t taste anything like a restaurant’s hot and sour soup. It’s not bad but the spicy and sour just are not highlighted enough
