By now you've probably run across every cheap Chinese knockoff and strange names product the world of Amazon has to offer. But guess what? The Soundpeats Q12's are a lightweight pair of Bluetooth earbuds that are high quality without being insanely expensive. They are built with details learned from prior models. The control stick and microphone is so small that it doesn't drag the cable down to one side. The charging port has a little lip that allows you to open it easily without having to use something to pry it open. The microphone also sits at mouth level instead of being down by your collar bones. The earbuds come with 3 different size bud tips and 3 sizes of ear braces so unless you have itty-bitty mouse ears you should be able to find something to fit just right. They are also sweat resistant and have magnetic backs so you can wear them like a necklace. The cable is flat and soft and flexible and shorter than some of the other models which is nice because you don't have a lot of excess cable getting caught up on everything. Charging is quick. They usually fully charge in about an hour. Sound quality : First and foremost I have to explain a little something about sound quality to give you a better understanding of what these headphones have to offer. Sound quality to most people is relative. Some people value loud bass over everything else. Some people don't know that streaming apps like Pandora use compressed audio files that don't sound as good as the original music. With that being said here goes. This unit has an excellent audio processor in it that allows you to experience high quality audio. After reading a few other reviews where people complained about the bass not being as loud as they'd like I finally have an opinion on this. The sound coming out of these earbuds are very balanced. The key word is BALANCED. The bass is loud enough without drowning out the highs and mids. If you go to YouTube and look up HD music, 24 bit music or FLAC quality music you will be able to listen to high quality music with these headphones and hear details in the music you've never heard before. Yes, these headphones are that good. And the bass is still high enough to listen to bass heavy music. So if you're only interested in bass heavy music because you've burned your eardrums out listening to rap at the highest possible volume then you may not like these. But if you have good hearing and really want to enjoy music I believe you will love these headphones. As for the microphone it is clear and has excellent background noise reduction. People on the other end don't even know you're on a headset. And listening to calls is very clear too. I have used Soundpeats products for a few years now and they keep getting better. They have bluetooth speakers as well as every type of headphones and earbuds. I hope my review helps you.

One of the better pairs I've owned! Overall I am very satisfied - for the price, this is a killer pair of grab-n-go buds to keep hanging around the neck! Pros= - It's got exactly enough battery to last for a day if I play medium volume all day (about 8-10 hours) - the audio quality is amazing, for my taste -- and low(ish) latency is a plus! - USB-C - the swiveling shirt clip helps to keep strain off the cable! - didn't die after 1 year of use like every other pair I've had Cons= - biggest gripe by far= doesn't report battery levels on power up; you have to check your phone's bluetooth menu to find the charge level. Has definitely led to a few times where I've left the house with dead buds. - battery life does the job, but could be a bit better. (at least it charges quick!) - can only connect to 1 device at a time - long press takes like 3 seconds to activate, making it super annoying to fast forward through podcasts. I typically just reach for my phone to avoid waiting

Purchased these Soundpeats Q30 HD earbuds a little over two and a half years ago. The charging port cap finally disintegrated. The battery/button cover detached soon thereafter, and cracked along the power button. However, the unit still functions fine. A bit of black gaffer tape works wonders holding it together and covering the charging port. I don’t worry a lot about losing these because of their design, and while I’ve gotten these earbuds hooked onto objects, they haven’t failed yet. I mainly use them for podcasts and YouTube, at home or at the gym. I also own Gen 2 AirPods but generally end up reaching for the Soundpeats. The battery lasts so much longer before requiring a charge. The sound is pretty good for podcasts, YouTube, and music. The passive noise cancellation from silicone ear fittings and Bluetooth range is usually enough for whatever I’m doing. And I’ve forgotten I was wearing them, or fallen asleep with them in my ears countless times. Ultimate verdict: I have nothing bad to say about these. They are solid all around, and the price is competitive. I’ve happily purchased a new pair.

In comparison to earbuds for this price range, the sound is very full with a lot of dynamic between soft and loud parts, which is really immersive. I like how the cover for the charging port goes in firmly, as this makes it more waterproof, however I have carpal tunnel in both of my hands and it can be more of a challenge than it should when I just want to charge my earbuds. So if you have any disabilities that impair fine motor or affect your grip, keep this in mind. My biggest complaint is how it lacks basic remote control features that most other wireless earbuds have. You cannot go back by holding - or skip the song holding +, which are very basic functions that nearly every other Bluetooth earbud has. Also, they do not automatically connect to my phone, which is extremely annoying and off-putting. Honestly, as much as I love the sound for these, I may consider returning them since they don't think I can do without the remote functions or auto-pair. Update: I found out you can go forward/back, HOWEVER the hold time for it is Very long in comparison to other earbuds (about 4-5 seconds), and on most music apps, after 5 seconds have passed, trying to remotely go back will only restart the song... When it takes 5 seconds for the remote to trigger to go back, and 5 seconds have passed in the song... Yeah, you can see the problem. Edit 2: They don't work anymore. I haven't had them for a week. Tried to connect them to my iPad,and they were just making little static sounds and the light was blinking. Couldn't even turn on/off.

I bought this to block out the voice of my super loud roommate who's normal talking voice sounds like a shout. Granted, I am an introvert and naturally, I like to hide in my room and enjoy some peace and quiet...HOWEVER, when I moved into this new place, my other roommate didn't tell me how loud this guy would be. Long story short, my pen pal recommended these to me since she uses them for noise canceling. My other over the ear headphones got busted, so I decided to give this a shot. I like how I can use this when I workout and it won't fall off my ears. More importantly, I like how crisp the sound is and when I turn up the volume it totally blocked out my loud roommate with his crazy phone calls and discussions with my other roommate. He eventually moved out but yes, I like using these when I study to block out unnecessary distracting noises from the loud television, etc. I can blast my metal and EDM music and not bother anyone. I also use these at work and it blocks out other conversations so I can focus. Please note I work in a cubicle. As far as using it for phone calls, this is okay. Quality seems to be decent according to the people that I've had phone calls with. The only issue is that phone calls can be dropped or cut out but that is due to my service provider. They do not have the best service in the area I live in. Overall, great set of headphones for the price and it comes with replacement ear pieces which is convenient.

UPDATE: I still like these earphones and how they sound, but I've dropped two stars off the rating. The reason is that there must be some sort of auto sleep feature and it's not helpful. They take a second to 'wake up', which means that every time I get a notification on my iPhone, I can't hear the first half of the sound effect.....even if I get two notifications within seconds of each other. The result is I'm being frequently startled by sudden loud sound effects, frequently chopped so strangely that I can't identify them by sound. The email "swish", with its easy buildup, now sounds like a gunshot. Buyer be warned. Original review: The best thing about these is the sound. Many people don’t remember this, but as recent as 5 years ago, most headphones/earbuds under $50 were TERRIBLE. Even amongst the better brands like Sony, Panasonic, and JVC, buying a sub-$50 pair of earbuds was a roll of the dice as to whether the sound quality would be decent. My, how things have changed. I bought these as a replacement for my Soundpeats Q34s. I had those for almost two years before the cord started to fray, which is pretty good considering the heavy use and abuse I gave them. The sound on those was much better than a (then) $35 pair of Bluetooth earbuds had any right to be. And these are significantly better sounding still. In fact, these Q30HDs sound better than the last pair of straight earbuds I purchased, which were a $99 pair prized at the time for their fantastic price-performance ratio. I had initially purchased the Soundpeats True Capsule true wireless earbuds, an AirPod-esque knockoff. But those don’t have actual buttons, and the weird scheme of tapping/multi-tapping-holding down the touch-sensitive non-buttons to do everything was not very user friendly. Additionally, after an initial flawless pairing session, the very first morning of use had me wasting 20 minutes of a busy morning trying unsuccessfully to get them to pair. Back to Amazon they went, and I’m all the better for it. These Soundpeats Q30HDs are fantastic, and do exactly what I want. PROS: -They sound fantastic. They have a natural sound with good detail and imaging. The bass is natural, meaning it sounds like it should. For those who like unrealistically high levels of boosted low frequency, these are not for you. -Good sound isolation. There are at least four different size silicone ear seals. Choosing the proper one provides enough isolation to isolate from noise, but still enable one to hear their environment (if one wishes). -Really good battery life. A full charge lasts an eight hour day with just listening to music, a little bit less if making a lot of calls. -Slick aesthetics. -Phenomenal price-to-performance ratio. CONS: When used with an iPhone, dictation using the Q30HD is not very good. I think the algorithms in Apple’s voice recognition software take into account its own devices. As such, dictation often comes up with some wild misinterpretations. And that’s it! I’ll change the review if something pops up, but as it is, these babies are fantastic.

I love these!! I had a Boltune set that isn't made anymore and finally after 3 years one side stopped working. I searched desperately for a replacement and tried several of the earbuds that have the neck strap like these. This is the keeper!! A great sound!! Full range of treble to deep bass. I listen to classical orchestra, jazz, folk, world music -- not so much rock n roll etc. I absolutely love the range on the EQ in these in-ear headphones. Also a BIG plus is that they are very comfortable and stay in the ear. I do wish that a color other than the black had been available as I like a lighter color on the earbuds. But these are great and definitely highly recommended. Comes with a good supply of replacement ear pieces and also with a charge cord. Well made, well packaged. A good gift for men, women, teens. Go for it!!!

These are the best I've owned in their class for the price. UPDATE 12/24/21: I recently lost these from my slicker pocket while clearing a downed tree. When found, they had been rained on for a week, then under snow at 25ºf for a weekend, still attached to a USB pocket charger. To my astonishment, they switched on and paired as if new. The charging port still works. Now they get 5 stars because the IPX6 waterproof claim is beyond expectations in those conditions. PROS: Come with several fit options Sound is excellent overall. Pair easily Sound to caller is reported to be clear Noise cancelling is passive, but reportedly works in my truck on noisy highway Charge with super-common USB mini plugs Controller is tactile, responsive and not too heavy Charge state visible via Blue / Red LED Magnetic buds stay on well CONS: Charge port cover is 'fiddly' and didn't last the life of my first pair of these buds. (not a big issue unless waterproofness is super important) Cord is thin and may loosen if buds are accidentally yanked. Controller tends to slap neck when running: Solution is to use accessory clip Callers complain of sharp background sounds if buds user is doing anything while on call. Voice prompt does not announce battery level, and this is a great feature to find (as on Jaybirds).

I needed a pair of cheap and cheerful earbuds that I can just carry in my pocket when I'm out or to get sweaty on a run after my MPows packed it in and these are great. The earbuds themselves fit into my ear nice and comfortably, and the audio quality is surprisingly high-end. I listen to a lot of bass-y music and these pic up the deep tones crystal clear and with some oomph as well. Great for something under £35.

Esta reseña la pongo en nombre de mi madre: Hace años que soy fiel a los auriculares de SOUNDPEATS, me los aconsejó una amiga con muy buen criterio y en la que siempre he confiado, y como siempre acertó; no podía haberme comprado unos auriculares mejores. Como digo, llevo años utilizándolos y los he regalado en más de una ocasión. Me resultan comodísimos, se oye muy bien a través de ellos, puedes dejarlos colgados, y sujetos con el imán que llevan, en el cuello cuando no los estás utilizando y los tienes a mano para ponértelos en el momento que quieras hacerlo sin depender de quitártelos y meterlos en una cajita, saber dónde dejas la cajita, tener que volver a abrir la cajita, tener que sacarlos, que ponértelos y colocártelos en el oído,… Me resultan comodísimos así,siempre me ha gustado lo práctico. Llevo unos SoundPeats Q30HD+ y estoy contentísima con ellos. No los cambiaría por otros… Los recomiendo! Paloma
