Not toxic, no resin, no solvents .There is paraffin in it. Powertex is needed as a binder. (or acrylic binder or acrylic paint) . By adding Powertex, the wax will become harder.

How long does it take to dry?

It depends of the thickness of the layer applied. If you work in a humid environment it will also have an impact on the drying process.

is it opaque or transparent? IF i mix it with acrylic paints will it change the color or tint the color?

It is a fine transparent smooth paste. It deepens the colors, makes them more intens. Our beautiful wax gives a satin finish to your paintings.
