I bought this to replace another wifi stick that had come with my computer. The base unit is quite old but functions well, however lack of wifi was making my computer unusable and I need it for my small business. So, I gave in trying to make it work and bought this for the very affordable price of about 7 pounds and wow, I'm so impressed! I was a bit wary of other reviews complaining of viruses but I just used the disk included and had no issue at all. Bit confusing to set up but only because my computer didn't follow the steps it mentioned in the booklet, but not marking off any stars because I didn't exactly struggle to set it up either, my computer mostly did it for me. Now my wifi is SUPER fast and I can even watch youtube videos without buffering, my web pages load in seconds rather than minutes. Absolutely no regrets, I just hope this one lasts!

I have a Lenovo laptop running Windows 10. The laptop is fitted with an internal Broadcom network adapter. Follwoing several Windows updates and it decided to randomly disconnect the wifi, requiring me to reboot my machine several times a day. This appears to be a known driver problem that neither Broadcom or Windows wish to resolve! I tried all the recommended "fixes" as found on Google but to no avail. I was getting really frustrated so decided to buy this dongle to see if it would solve my problem. IT DID! I ordered it on Prime and it arrived the following day. I plugged it in and turned on the laptop and the adapter connected immediately with no other driver installation required. I have now disabled the internal Broadcom adapter. So far it has been working perfectly and it has saved me loads of hassle for a very small price. Time will tell how long it survives but at the moment it is working extremely well. Highly recommended.

I routinely build & repair computers for many folks in my area. Recently one of my customers who has an older desktop tower Pc wanted to add wifi. I could've helped her out buying a regular PCIe card with wifi antennas, but the inside space of her older Pc didn't have any spare PCI slots. I had used these various Wifi adapters before on a few laptops, so figured this was the way to go to give an older desktop new powers. Was able to plug it into a spare front USB2.0 port. It has a tiny LED status light and drivers install was easy! So far the old desktop is chugging full speeds at full Dual Band 2.4GHz & 5GHz. Best part it's designed for Windows & MacOs without much finagling, although I haven't tested it on a Mac yet. I will definitely buy this version again.

After struggling for weeks wondering why my desk top PC was slower than all my other devices I finally decided that it must be the connection. The TP link I was using was very old. I bought this one as it seemed inexpensive. My download speed has increased fourfold (confirmed by Ookla) and I no longer need to reset the router, or use Epson connect, before I use the wireless printer. Easy to install. Ignore the CD and the instructions if your OS is Windows 10. Plug in and check available WiFi connections. Mine showed my home hub and prompted the password code. Code entered and it started to work and did everything as described. I am very pleased with this purchase. I would recommend.

Didn't expect this to work with my 9 year old PC using windows 10. Plugged in to USB port..nothing happened except a flashing light on the dongle. Undeterred I went into network settings and next to ethernet connection was a device saying reaktek. So I tried to connect and it asked for WiFi password. Once entered the light on dongle flashed faster and hey presto I had a WiFi connection. Ethernet cable unplugged YouTube worked so fast but I now wanted to move to my son's bedroom which was far away from the router.😱 Once computer set up upstairs,powered PC on and low and behold amazing WiFi and Internet running at a great speed. I am more than delighted at how well this little piece of tech works and for the money it's exceptional.

We bought this as we moved our old desktop PC to a new room which didnt have a wired internet connection. The product was delivered next day. The mini-CD had everything we needed on it and the set up files appeared on screen in their own folder once the CD draw was closed. The instructions were very simple to follow and it took about 10 mins to get everything set up. PC is now back to full connectivity like nothing had every changed.

I ordered this to replace the internal Broadcom wifi adapter in my HP laptop which would intermittently give an 'unable to connect' message. It installed very easily as windows found a driver on start-up. However, I installed the driver from the CD anyway. I ran a speed test several times and the max download speed obtained was 21mbs and 18mbs upload. I then switched to the original internal broadcom wifi adapter and it connected to my router first time. Download speeds recorded were in excess of 30mbs via the internal adapter ! There was also a QR code to scan to enable driver download. The referenced site is no longer available so I entered the URL from the paperwork into a search engine. Found the site but all in Chinese ! VERY DISAPPONTED considering the positive reviews that this product has. I could not return it to Amazon because I had damaged the packaging. Will keep as an inferior backup for the internal wifi adapter.

My laptop's inbuilt wifi stopped working and disappeared from the system settings. After a couple of reboots and fruitless messing about i got on Amazon and ordered this tiny wifi dongle. A day later it arrived, i plugged it in and it worked without any fuss or setup to do. Small enough not to block any of the other USB ports - There are some bulky alternatives out there but this was nice and small so hasn't lost me any other USB ports like others look like they might

Hola. Amazon me envía un correo diciéndome que el vendedor pide una valoración de su producto, así que escribo esta reseña. El adaptador anterior dejó de funcionar después de muchos años, y ante la falta de comunicación cuando falla el router necesitaba un adaptador nuevo que se conectara a la red 4G de mi operador a través del tlf. Aproveche una oferta flash que lo dejó a un precio realmente bueno. Llegó muy, muy rápido, lo pedí un día por la tarde y estuvo en casa al día siguiente, muy bien. Un detalle que me agradó es que no es muy ancho, el adaptador anterior tenía una anchura que impedía ocupar el puerto que tenía al lado, con este, ese mismo puerto queda libre, además es lo bastante pequeño para pasar desapercibido y pese a no tener antena exterior como el anterior, va francamente bien. No se porqué después de la instalación dio problemas de conexión, lo desinstalé y volví a instalarlo de nuevo, todo perfecto desde entonces. El cambio de red lo hago desde la aplicación, se conecta tanto al 2,4 como al 5g de mi repetidor, y también a la red que genera mi tlf, en ese caso uso la banda de 5g, así que solucioné mi problema. No puedo hablar de velocidades de subida o bajada porque uso un dispositivo que repite la señal del router principal, así que nunca me va a dar la velocidad real, solo lo uso en caso de problemas puntuales que aparecen con ese router, el resto del tiempo estoy conectado por cable. De todas formas puedo decir que mejora los datos del otro adaptador de largo, y eso siendo mucho mas pequeño y como digo sin antena externa. Lo he probado en mi PC y en otro equipo distinto. Uso windows 10. ¿Estoy contento?, sí. ¿Lo volvería a comprar?, sí Me parece un buen producto, a buen precio, con buen rendimiento y un tamaño lo suficientemente pequeño para llevarlo de un sitio a otro en el bolsillo sin enterarte que lo llevas encima, con una entrega rápida y, por lo que parece, un vendedor que hace seguimiento de lo que vende. la chiavetta WiFi in questione devo dire che è eccellente, non perde mai il segnale, mai un blocco, navigazione internet sempre costante, il router di casa (con sim) è a una distanza di 10 metri esatti dalla chiavetta e ripeto (mai una perdita di segnale, navigazione sempre costante e veloce) l'installazione è semplice, basta inserire la chiavetta in una USB del pc e l'installazione è automatica, il venditore dopo qualche giorno dall'acquisto (senza che io chiedessi assistenza) mi ha inviato una email dove diceva di installare il software in dotazione nella confezione (un piccolo cd) oppure il link sulla email che mi ha inviato per l'aggiornamento dei driver della chiavetta, io comunque lo avevo già fatto...con il cd, sempre dopo qualche giorno essendo stato veramente contento dell'acquisto ne ho acquistata un'altra per il pc di mio figlio... quindi consiglio l'acquisto, grazie ad Amazon come sempre per la spedizione velocissima (meno di un giorno) e grazie al venditore per l'assistenza (anche non avendola chiesta) bravi..
