Fresh milk tubes made a huge difference!
I didnโt realize how "tired" my old milk tube was until I finally swapped it out for one of these. My Lattissima Plus was starting to struggle with the froth, and it turns out the old silicone pipe just wasn't creating a good seal anymore. What I noticed right away: Back to thick foam: The second I put this new tube in, the suction was back to normal. Iโm finally getting those thick, creamy lattes again instead of just lukewarm, flat milk. The fit is spot on: I was worried they might be too loose or too long, but they are an exact match for the original. They slide right onto the connector with zero fuss. No weird smell: Sometimes these silicone parts can have a plastic-y scent when they're new, but these were totally neutral right out of the pack. Handy 2-Pack: Itโs great having a spare. I keep one in the machine and one in the drawer so I can swap them out when Iโm deep-cleaning the milk carafe. The Verdict: If your machine is starting to act up, try replacing this tube before you assume the whole frother is broken. Itโs such a cheap and easy fix, and it saved me so much frustration. My morning coffee is back to being the best part of the day!
